Running - continuous RUDL or LUDR stream at high speed

Crossover jump - On double, a jump that involves panels on both sides

Crossover stream - Stream that switches between sides, also on double

Recovery section - slow part in difficult high speed songs, Maxes, Sakura

Jason'd it- in honor of our local PA/Tech player (yeah we're jealous). For PAing the hell out of a song.

Committing Suicide- aka Maxx 300 heavy doubles.

Break - any pause in the song and stream of steps.

Here are some:

dooshbag: trying to act smooth and cool, but failing miserably.

foot watching: like it says, you watch your feet more than the screen.

flapping bird or tantrum child: the act of waving your arms around wildly without any sort of rhythum.

kicking it: this is usually defined as a person quitting very soon after getting on. *btw very annoying*

Brianized - this refers to failing a song on the last step, originally coined when our friend BJ cheered when it looked like he was going to pass B4U standard and failed on the last step

Mr. Wangle - this refers to a bulge created when people with excessively baggy pants have to pull the bottom up past the knees, first example of this is Bijan

Dangerous Territory - when simiddrmaster attempts to dragon kick over the two motocross machines and uh...lands on one of them quite hard

"REJECTED!" - often said when simiddrmaster attempts a handstand and his feet get caught up in the bars or on one occasion, a desk

Traffic jam: A long, barely readable stream of arrows a la Bag.

these are general arcade terms I came up with a while back but could easily apply to DDR too...

Jingling: the practise of fingering the quarters in your pocket while deciding if you really want to play this game

Panic Fishing: trying to get another quarter/token out of your pocket before the continue countdown reaches 0 (well, I guess not so much for DDR...)

These are some that are DDR specific...

Super Tag Combo: bailing and having someone else jump in and continue your combo (extra cool on the pause in Maxx Unlimited)

Boot Stepping: stomping on the arrows WAY harder than is necesary

DEEEEEEnied!/REEEEEEEEEjected!: trying to do a cool move and screwing up (falling over during a spin

)

Kablam: hitting the last step way too hard in an effort to impress the crowd "he didn't do so well on the song so he kablammed it to save face"

Reserve Ledge: The ledge where people put there quarters to show that they are going to play

Passerby: Someone who asks you if they can go before you because either A/ they are better than you or B/ they make up an excuse like "my little sister is crying because she wants to play more than you"

Cheap Passerby: Moving you're quarter to the end of the reserve ledge while you're not looking so they can play before you

Stupid Little Thief: Someone you takes your quarter off the ledge like it is there quarter

This is one my friends and I do often
conga line- when a few freestylers get together and take turns playing one song trying to see who can out FS the other. It's sort of like a FS battle. We get in a line dance for a while and then shout "go" when we are ready to switch off to the next person. It's pretty freakin fun and it can get almost anyone to FS.

Jellos- girls who play without a sports bra.

A Tilt: when you could swear you hit a step but get a miss, since the Tilt here has the worst pads ever.

DOMF: short for Drop Out Maniac Freestyler. To put it simply, a liar.

Being Dyslexic: misreading a stream of steps. Often done by me when attempting catas.
