first time looking at this thread, and after looking through all the pages, I'm impressed with everybody improving well.

AlexMax: This is anit-mod for 6th mix + core that I have and it works for me.

Hey I have a question about 5 Key Beatmania Doubles, we have a 5th mix here and im just wondering were some songs meant to be played with 2 people? Theres a part in Deep In You doubles that makes you hit buttons and turntable on both sides at the same time, and I can think of some other ones kinda like that, its stuff like this that is keeping me from making my way up to 6 star doubles.

they do the same thing in IIDX with the notes and scratching either scratch early or ignore the scratch.

Yes, pinky scratching on doubles does become a b!tch....

and to put more info into Crystal scratch techiques...

1p keys 1+5 and 2p scratch = >_<
1p keys 1+3+5 + scratch and 2p scratch = .....god only knows -_-

yea, don't believe just play the songs from Beatmania III: overwheling, All in vanity, Live Together, Shake it down, and Feeling of love(i think) on doubles and you will see what i mean.

Thanks a lot, yeah I can pinky scratch with my right hand on the 2p side pretty well but I still need practice with my left hand since im so used to playing IIDX and when I pinky scratch its just natural to go to the left instead of the right, plus the lack of Center mode really doesent help

it REALLY sucks looking at opposite sides of the screen at the same time.

Also does anyone know what songs have anothers on Beatmania 5th Mix? I've been doing some searching but I havent come up with anything, I found a list a really long time ago but the only ones I remember having anothers are Cycle and Drunk Monkey (I cant pass this one because again im so used to IIDX I cant do much with my left hand when it wants me to scratch)

edit: I know I probably wont get much of an awnser to this except practice, but does anyone know a good hand posistion for your left hand on the keys? On IIDX I play 2 hands but I tend to use my thumb for key 1 and index finger for key 3 and middle finger for key 5 (pretty much the lisu position) but on regular beatmania I cant find a comfortable way to use my fingers while im scratching so most of the time I just slap them.

Yeah I've got my IIDX arcadestyle sitting on a car speaker box on its side and if I want use one hand I'll stand more on the turntable side so I can get my hand at the right angle, but playing with 1 hand for me is really rare.

Does Club Mix rewuire anti mod codes in order to boot up? I'm thinking of buying just to play 321 Stars.

that depends on what model your ps is and the same goes for the mod-chip as well...

Im using a SCPH-7501 I bought Holiday '98, and I use a Game Huner Pro for it.

My PS2 is a V7, and its modded with a Magic 3.1

use you PS2 to play Beatmania Club Mix, since you will need the anti-mod code for your PSX

If you only have one controller, you guys are really missing out on the fun of ...... TWO PLAYER MODE.

A 3-4-5 star noob player like me can easily pass almost every song

IMO Nahanaha vs Gatchoon was built for 2 player. Heeeei eburibadi.. haro haro.

It's just mega fun doing the songs with two people.

I first heard it on one of the Gameboy games, but the title's in Japanese... so I don't know what it is.
