Heh, I probably won't play Summer Vacation again either after I beat it on 7Keys. It is one of the most frustrating songs that I have left to pass. It's fun to play on L7, but frustrating as hell on 7K.

Yeah, I AA'd dissolve about two weeks back. Unfortuneately, it was a one-time thing, because I haven't been able to do it again. Like I said before, I usually score terribly on it. I was just having a really good day, I guess (now that I think about it, I passed two Flashing 7's that day, too).

Also, I popped in 5th Style for the first time in a week or two today, played era (nostalmix) [A], and something finally just clicked, because I finally got that evil scaling part at the end down. The beginning is much, much harder for me. I still have some trouble with the end of era on 7K, though. Other than that, the 7K version is a breeze.

Ceredigm: Heh... well, when I said that I haven't played summer vacation again... I mean, I just won't touch either 7k or L7. It's so frustrating being able to FC it, but not get an AA. Grrr...

And, yeah, Era Nostalmix isn't that bad... it was one of the few Another's I cleared on 5th style. I cleared it my first try sight-reading... so I can't imagine it to be *too* hard.

The end of Summer Vacation 7key seems to get me quite often... I think it's a pretty concievable song until the end. That one time I hit the end though, I was like... alright! No more of this crap. Heh...

Have you beaten Colors ~radio edit~ 7key yet? It's one of my favorite flashing 7's yet... I actually enjoy playing it. I think once the end clicks, it's just routine after that; unless you try too hard... I find that when I try too hard, I fail most difficult songs. Weird. Heh... go figure.

My controller mod....

Each little square is a 1mm x 1mm square cut out of a hard rubber material (I used Dr. Scholls womens heel inserts) about 1mm thick, glued onto the circut board. These will help the the corners not being able to sink down far enough into the casing that it will stick.

Then I shaved the corners of every key quite a bit using a metal file.

And also the front of back edges of the keys.

This step is really important. Cut small circles (I traced a dime, and cut smaller than that) out of a thin material, like a thin carboard material, and glue it onto the bottom of the controller so that the plunger covers the material. This makes it so that you dont have to push hard at all for the thing to respond.

if I'm not mistaken, Saiyajin has The Safari, Take It Easy, and Regulus left. I have The Safari, Checking You Out, and Regulus left. I can almost pass Take It Easy [A] if it wasn't for the ridiculous ending. I've passed The Safari on Expert (wussy) mode, and I've gotten 78% on Regulus a few times. Checking You Out is just retarded.

But I think it's time for a break. My timing is getting worse by the day. My note mashing is getting better, but for every extra note I mash, I end up with 6 more Goods. I haven't increased a single score in the past 2 days, but I've passed several more songs, and full comboed a few more.

Wow Ryan, that is quite the impressive modification. It would be way over my capabilities though. X_x

And, Kaleigh, Macheezmo is right. I have "The Safari", "Take it Easy" and "Regulus" left to clear on 7key. V still gives me trouble about 1/2 of the time though... even though I just recently increased my score to 1735 points while playing it on an Expert course. I also finally upped my Colors 7key score to an A... That was cool.

Don't worry Kaleigh, I don't think I will be clearing any of the other 3 songs I have left for a long while. I don't even have 5th style... so I can't work on Regulus even if I wanted to. And Take it Easy is still over my head... The Safari I have concluded is impossible. =D I can't even get a B on The Safari yet... I have 1 C left on 7key for 6th style, and one C on 7key for 4th style(Checking you Out; man that song is hard). 5th style just sucks because it doesn't have fast enough speed mods... so I have like 4 C's on that. X_x Plus, again, I don't own 5th(or 4th for that matter), so it's not realistic for me to up them even if I wanted to.

6th style is by far my favorite home style as of now... once 7th style comes out, I'm sure that will be my favorite home style. One thing is for certain though, I'm dying to play Burning Heat and A. Even though I'll never clear A... I'd still like to try it. Heh...

Anyways, Kakumei another isn't a huge step up from Kakumei 7key. Random makes both insanely easier most of the time, but if you can pass kakumei 7key without random you shouldn't be too far off of with the another.

It's only 10:30 and I'm as tired as an assjackle =/
