Be sure to show her how to do the sequence of up-left-right-down. When she is able to do a lot of basic songs then show her how to do 1/8 steps. Also, have her take the up and left arrows, while you take the right and down arrows. Then you can get close to her without her feeling aukward, and without you feeling aukward. I don't know how to spell aucward!!!
