Well, I wrote an email too... rather nasty, I admit.

But in a way, DDR IS dancing. But only IF you make it dancing. In my dance classes at school, we were taught that the meaning of dance is movement. If you make movements look good, smooth, use your arms and maybe even facial expressions, DDR IS dance. And I mean, hey, I've only been dancing for around 8 years, so I really have no idea WHAT I'm talking about, right?

I was just about to comment on the DDR Shoes part myself... is he referring to the DDR Skechers commercial? If so, he's way off... the message I got from those commercials (which show people doing things OTHER THAN DDR in Skechers) was that they're the kind of shoes you wear for just doing whatever it is you enjoy. They're not specifically meant for DDR. Ah well, what else can you expect from a rant?

Looking at all these posts in here make me realize how much i love the DDR community.

. But yeah while i may not be the best DDRer of them out there, i believe that if i saw him i would definately throw him down on the pad and commence to play HVAM Heavy on his entire body. Start him off on his front with me stomping on his back and then during that little freeze turn him over and stomp his stomach and chest good. and while i may be wrong, but i think a 245 lb 6'3'' guy from texas steppin on ya aint gonna feel very good. ::evil grin::

It's not that he dosen't like DDR .. it's obvious that he dosen't have a clue about the game yet comes up with such nonsense. Have you kept track of anything in this thread?

God, how can anyone read that site. It's paragraphs and paragraphs of.... nothing? No one wants to hear another person's opinion unless
1) You agree with them and
2) They word their opinion in humorous or powerful way

I'm pretty sure no one here hates DDR, so #1 is out. And well.....
