There was a whole lotta discussion about this earlier. UMA apparently stands for "Unidentified Mysterious Animal". What comes into question is whether or not the guy is complimenting your dance moves or trying to psych you out to mess up your FC. Personally, I think hes trying to psych you out. I mean, just listen to the condescending way he says it!
I also have a RL friend who takes a whole bunch of japenese classes and he says "UMA" references a cow, meaning hes calling you a cow. But japanese is ceratainly not my forte, so take that with a grain of salt. |

I'm entering college in the fall, and I'm going to minor in Japanese.
'Uma' means horse, not cow. Also, 'uma' is pronounced 'oo-mah' but the DDR announcer says it fairly clearly as "yoo-ehm-eigh".
I don't know what UMA means myself, but I'm going to stick with the Unidentified Mysterious Animal for now. _________________
