719 with a B. I wouldn't consider that very good, though. _________________

<- can't look up to Agop much longer
I seem to paly better as I get less sleep. A few days ago, I got like 9-10 hours of sleep yet fucked up Y31 [7] with too many non-flashing greats, a 78% gauge, and a C. But today, I got around 157,000 points and a 1,050 expert score, even though I slept only from 2:30 AM to 9 AM last night.

905 Expoints - A (around 166,000 in-game points). I haven't played it for a while though... I'll go for an AA next time I play. _________________

Gah, I only have 892 on The Safari L7...and 1031 on The Safari 7K. You've been playing about 2 months less than me and you can pass basically everything I can, and you score better at 99% of everything...oh well...such is life I guess...maybe I should play more than 15-20 songs per day...

713 on The Safari [L7]. Es estupido.
The Big Voyager [A] (which really is in cut-time) = fun. On 7 Keys = ow. |

You guys think The Safari Light 7 is hard, Stoic Light 7 will blow your mind. It's a 7 star on Light 7, and not an easy one. _________________

Who said it was hard? I think the Safari 7key is hard. And, I seriously don't think I'll have any problem... considering I've cleared every 7-star song on 7key I've played except for Regulus(I've only played 5th and 6th style).
Cheez, shut up, you know both of us would rock out Michigan if we ever played at an arcade or public situation with IIDX... but no arcade ever seems to get IIDX...(this will make you feel better, on Safari 7key I can only mash out 918 points with a crummy low C.)
I wish there was an 8th style/7th style machine around, so I could try Stoic. But chances of me ever playing it are slim to none... unless Konami finally releases 7th style for PS2. Then I'll get to try it.
Quick question... how hard is Max300 L7? Does it compare to Stoic's difficulty? _________________

The Safari Light 7: (approx) 1080. AA.
I'll have to work on that tonight and try to get it to a AAA... I got 188,000 on it once, so I'm not -too- far away. |

My EX score on The Safari is 731. I'm making some progress on the flashing 7s, even though I haven't passed any. If I can get better, I can probably beat Colors (radio edit), GOB~WS~ and DXY!.
Oh yeah, my overall L7 score:
O AAAs
17 AAs
40 As
9 Bs
3 Cs
All passed, 19 out of 69 FC'ed, EX Score 47919, overall score: A. That's better than I thought it would be.
On the weekend, I got to play my friend's 3rd Style and saw some videos and songs I heard people talk about here.
All I can say about S.O.S and Calcutta and their videos is = O_o
Brilliant 2U and EOTC were transfered well to IIDX. (EOTC is making back to 9th, yay!)
The original GOB is....
Who is that guy with the spiky hair standing against the wall in L.O.T (Love or Truth)?!
But thing stands out above the others.....
Macho Gang's video. I think I can make a remake of that video, but I need to know everything that's in it. The stuff I remember is: The pen, the rabbit, the guy pulling out the stuff in the back of the TV, the girl cooking and the glove. Am I missing anything?
But I need to know: Who is the guy that I described above in L.O.T? Is he a part of m-flo or something? |

Are these 'total EX scores' you're quoting available somewhere in the actual game? Or are you just adding all your EX score records together manually to come up with that number? _________________

I used the spreadsheets that I got from Macheezmo (PM him if you want them). They help a lot, especially for the earlier Styles that don't show grades. |

Ah, that's what I figured. I have those spreadsheets too, but as much as I love statistics, its maybe a bit more work than I want to do to keep running back and forth between my computer and my PS2 to update my numbers. Oh well... maybe 7th Style will include such an option for 'Total EX Score'. They included it in 6th Style's training mode, so I don't see why not. _________________

Does anyone do better on 7-key or Another than Light-7? On some songs like Beautiful Days, I can get a better grade than my Light-7 grade. I get a AA easily on 7-Key, but I haven't gotten a AA on Light-7 yet. |

its because there are less notes in light7 so you have to get more Just Greats percentage wise which in turn is easier on 7key/another due to more notes

It's not just that. Sometimes I even miss notes on Light-7, when I can FC 7-Key. I think I'm just so used to the 7-Key notes that when I hear the music and see something different, I can't register.

Well, my friend Adam let me borrow 4th style this afternoon... and I finished doing what I want to do with it. I got my overall A quite fast with this style... I found it to be quite easy overall.
I started off with 7key... and actually cleared ALL the songs. I have one C left on 7key on the style. Overall A on my first runthrough. 13 AA's, 28 A's, 11 B's, 1 C.
After that I moved to Another. Now, there are some crazy hard songs here... I only cleared 20/35 on my first runthrough. Like usual, about 5 or 6 of them were 70%-78% finishes... stupid Another. Overall B on my first runthrough. 2 AA's, 11 A's, 11 B's, 8 C's, 3 D's.
Finally, I moved to L7. Now, this is just beyond easy. I scored in the 180,000 or higher point range for about 45/53 songs. The easiest style yet for the first runthrough. 6 AAA's, 43 AA's, 4 A's. Overall AA for my first runthrough.
My new L7 AAA's are:
Burnin' the Floor
Leading Cyber
Love Will
New York City Boy
North
Sanctus
I was single digit close to AAA with 6 other songs. And about 5 more songs in the teen's away from a AAA.
Here are my overall credentials:
L7, Cleared 53/53. 24 Full combos, 3 Perfect combos. 35197 Expoints: AA.
7K, Cleared 53/53. 5 Full combos, 1 Perfect Combo. 43543 Expoints: A.
A7, Cleared 20/35. No full combos. 31093 Expoints: B.
Overall - 109833 Expoints: A
Now, back to my favorite style... 6th... to do some more cleaning up. =D _________________

I agree with this. This is what keeps me from AAAing some easier L7 songs. But then again on 7key....I can't combo and get Just Greats like I can on L7.
My IIDX career is doomed... |
