I have the "samba fan" maracas, they don't work at all. The game is really fun though, I like it. _________________

Of course I've got it. One of the best games on the Dreamcast. I just wish cordless maracas existed. The cords seem to get between the sensors when I'm playing, making it nearly impossible to do the harder songs. |

Everybodies Super Sonic Racing!!
*squeal* Does anyone have the download songs?
I have 3rd party maracas, and they work pretty well. I FC'd Soul Bossa Nova on Superhard. IMO that's that hardest song in the game. _________________

It sux0rs that sega only made about 50,000 pairs of maracas. I guess they weren't expecting people to pay 70$ for a periphiral. _________________

I think that if Sega were to re-release the game right now, people would definently buy it. The demand for music based games has sky rocketed, now that everyone knows about this game, but can't play it because they don't have the maracas (yes I know you can use a normal controller), everyone wants it.
Sega could make it for PS2 or something, make like 100,000 maracas, if they all sell, they can ship out more. I think it'd work... Plus, I want my Samba 2000 damn it! _________________

I've got Samba, and two pairs of official Sega Maracas. I still play to this day. Although, I wasn't quick enough to get the d/l songs. And I don't have Ver. 2000. I don't miss it much though, I only want Hustle Mode and Vamos a Carnival. That song is GREAT!
I love the intro, "Pwesented by Se-ga, he-he." |

You can still get the downloads from Booyaka.com, just log on via your DC and download the file to your VMU. Thats what I did with Ver. 2000, oh and Vamos A Carnival IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS!

Wow, xxaamm brought a dead thread back from a year ago!! LoL I've always seen this game on channelbeat but I never knew the concept of it.... Are there sensors in the maracas or do you have to play over some sensors such as PPP? _________________

Oh man, Samba De Janerio is the biggest reason for me to play this game. I Wish i had a DC and the game, and the marracas. _________________
