I've been playing for two years. it took me maybe four months before I was able to play on maniac. I only played maybe once a week. so it's understandable. during the summer though, I get better much faster.

I've been playing for about a year, with about 5-7 months of not being able to play for certain reasons that I've stated before. I'm on Standard/Trick, and working on some Maniac/Heavy. But what's the point of this thread? disturb.gif Just to see how long different people take to get good? It'll be different for everyone, so just get used to it. E7.gif

Wow, I guess it would be about 2 years now...Since I don't play much anymore, I really just go to the arcade to socialize, I'm stuck on all 9's and a few 10's. I haven't been trying to get better though sooo that's ok. happy.gif

It's been about two years since I've started playing with any sort of regularity. I got into heavy mode about half a year, but it took me another half a year to pass my first cata.

Just remember: Some people pick this kind of thing up faster than others, especially if they've had some sort of martial arts/dancing/bemani background. The first two because, presumably, they have mastered their balance, and the latter because...well, it's bemani.

I've been playing for about a year now. I can pass all 9 and 10 footers, some with decent grades, some not, but I'm getting there.

Wow and you are that good already? biggrin.gif

I've been playing for just over 2 years now(May of 2001 to be exact) and we are like around the same level. Although, near the end of last year i did stop playing for like 3-4 months, so maybe that evens us out. laugh.gif

oh and as for the other thing. I've passed like every song on both singles and doubles. (including all 10 footers for both of them)

I've been playing for a year and I totally suck compared to some people on here who have played that long (I have yet to get more perfects than greats on So Deep disgust.gif ).

It took me about 5 months before I had enough skill and stamina to do 6 foot maniac songs disturb.gif, though I got better more quickly after that.

I don't have a DDR machine near me anymore so I haven improved all that much in the past four months, save for the fact that I have gotten better about hitting steps, but not getting perfects though.

I've been playing for about 6 months, and I can do most 9 footers, but I'm still working to get 10 footers.

I've been playing for about 2 years or so, and I worked my way up as far as difficulty on Single play. I had to pass many Light songs before going into Standard and the same with Standard moving to Heavy. Don't remember how long it took, but I'm a late bloomer and just starting to get good.
