For soem reason when i play Cata's or faster 8-footers I always have trouble with my left contact lense. It completely fell out while playing Paranoia 200 today! I have seen other people have the same problems. DO you have those problems? _________________

I think the problem is that you're forgetting to blink. |

I have problems with my dorky glasses.. They don't have those weird plastic pads (they're black rims! geek pride )so they always sweat off my face and I have to push em up every 3.2 seconds |

I have colored contact lenses and everytime i'm doing a hard song, particularly with jumps, they move around and i can't see out of them. Fun huh? |

this was talked about a while back....and i believe that most people came to the conclusion that those with contacts, myself included, should force themselves to remember to blink...........usually they fall out this way if one doesn't blink every so often.... _________________

If it helps any, I'm SUPPOSED to wear glasses... that wasn't easy... they were CUTE plastic rims and all, but they didn't stay up very well... Of course, doing that karate kick in the middle of the mall and having them fly off my head onto ceramic tile and breaking didn't help them much... And to this day, I haven't gotten them fixed... Shame on me... But....
If I forget to blink, I also have a problem seeing, because my eyes water up... so don't forget to blink, whether you wear contacts or not! Oh yeah, side note: Don't forget to breathe, too! It's not fun lying on the floor while someone else finishes up your game for you, all because you forgot to breathe on Captain Jack (Grandale Remix) on Standard/Trick. Yeah, it sucked big monkey butt. _________________

my right contact usually ends up blurring up some. I just keep eye drops handy. everytime it blurs up, I can't see and I end up missing a lot of stuff I shouldn't be missing. especially on doubles. _________________

Do you use hard contacts or the soft gel-type ones? I might get the gel-type ones in a year and a half or so because right now my vision is apparently (according to my eye doctor) over 20/400 (HOLY SH!T) and right now I'm wearing glasses, which are fine for DDR besides the fact that sometimes the sweat makes them fall down my nose - only a little bit though.
I really hope the soft ones aren't causing these problems because I am looking into getting those. I don't think I'll have a problem with blinking every once in a while (if I still play DDR at that time) I have heard that the soft ones stick to your eyes better and will not, or at least rarely, fall out. |

Mine never fall out-I think I would be rather upset if that happened considering my eyesight is incredibly bad. :o (Oh and I wear the soft kind.)
It does blur up a lot though because I always forget to blink...It sucks but hey, I'm not wearing glasses. _________________

Bah, my glasses lens fell out today and I couldn't find it after lifting up the pad and looking all over. Luckily I still had my old (broken) pair, so I taped the old right side onto the new glasses. |

I know it's kinda off cue...but a guy I knew (he moved) was a professional skateboarder. His name was Aaron. He wore contact lenses. it affected his skating very much because every trick he did flat ground or hand rails he had to adjust his eyeballs. As for DDR and contact lenses I honestly think it would be tougher since you're bouncing around all the time.
And with reading glasses with thin frames? My girlfriend said last night that I'd look sexy with glasses on Gotta try it sometime! _________________
