And you already know what I have to say about that. I didn't know you used this forum that often- it's cool. |

Eh. If they really didn't like DDR and hated your comic, they wouldn't have bothered writing to you. Trolls just look for attention where they can get it.
Remember: if all else fails, you've got yourself a devoted following here. ^_^ _________________

I'm blown away, the art and the story are both spectacular! Keep it up, and ignore the trolls. |

yeah, you guys are right! screw people being rude to me, especially since I'm doing the whole comic for myself and real ddr maniacs... I'm gonna add a line to the page that says "This manga is for the REAL dancers! Are you a Pro?"
I love my characters so I'll stick with people who like them too. Plus you're right about $10,000-- there are some riduclous awards at the main tournament (like extra prizes just given out for crazy stats) and yes, by the end they will have to EARN that money for real. question is who?
oh, DDR thugs? it's funny you say that because there IS a team kinda like that... they have a thug rep. We'll see how they actually play but first things first... I've gotta finish up chapter 2! _________________

Mind you if it wernt for Mac Hall I wouldent of known it existed, but I'm glad i found it when i did, you have my vote for coolness. It would be wicked to know were u learnt to draw. _________________

thanks guys! Awww Kel, I'm sowwy you're sick! get better! you have to enjoy the summer time!
you get better too, DJ guard your head!
Actually I just updated today! I'm happy because I finally got all the bandwidth drama taken care of-- so now people can check the update wot chapter 2! w00t!
btw, Pyscho Clown-- I've always liked to draw so I guess I've learned from everywhere and everything around me. I think my stuff looks so weird because I used to copy both japanese and american animation. Like I used to draw Aladdin all the time, and also Ranma 1/2 so now my style is somewhere in between... maybe
As always, here's the link!
Second Stage: The Away Team is updated!
Oh and a_seal-- you're right about the proportions changing in some panels... I do that on purpose if things are extra strange or silly. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't heh heh...
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next part too! it's the end of chapter 2 finally and well, it's 9 of my favorite characters throwing down at Denny's it'll be a good time. I have to go eat at Denny's this week so I can get good rÆÆsence ! _________________

MAKOTO-SAMA!!!!!!! I just read the update and WOW! *thinks about the food at Denny's and how her stomach has been this past week... * Oi... Anywho...
This is great! You know, I'm such a procrastinator... I still have to show all my friends your artwork... I've only shown a couple... Shame on me! But lemme tell ya! This update is totally spifftaculer! Yes, its my own word, don't ask... I SO can't wait for the next update... ugh, why does a week have to be so long? *looks at the clock and realizes only 1 minute has passed* WHAT?!? I thought it's been at least 5 minutes! This is gonna be a long week...
Kind of off subject though, I'm celebrating! I get to go to my very first Karaoke Night! And the place I'm going to has DDR Extreme ( both pads ACTUALLY working! AND they have Pump It Up! That game wasn't so easy... ) And I'm going with a group of people who have never done karaoke before, so I won't be the only n00b!
* e-hem * Ok, I'm done now... very good work, Makoto-sama! _________________

wow, this is really looking good.
I kind of like how some of the members of Team Cyclone are actually being befriended by members of The Platinum Mark. _________________

Yaay! I'm glad some other people like that route too. I think it'd be boring if they all hate each other all the time. This isn't Romeo and Juliet, na? Plus they've all got a lot in common so I think everybody would be good friends-- IF there wasn't $10,000 on the line!
but yeah, we'll see what happens at Denny's-- please don't be sick, Kel! ha ha ha! And don't activate your time machine or anything either! I have so much to do before next week! Eek! I leave the US in only SIX weeks!!
Saiyajin, you only think you want to meet someone like me, till you actually DO-- then you'll get tired of them and say "Grr! Curse you for being a racially ambiguous geeky schoolgirl, for not staying in the same zip code for more than two weeks and for not looking more like your drawings! " Or maybe not, but that's always what happens to me anyway...
If I can go to the DDR XTreme Tour stop at Long Beach, I may meet some people from the board there-- but I'm afraid they'll probably be disappointed to see me in real life -- Oh well! At least I can AA Paranoia Evolution (heavy, 1.5x)! I co»ýâû't do that last time! _________________

Wow, I just started reading this online comic and it blew me away. The drawings and storyline are so good that I can't believe it. Also, it's DDR so it has to be good! Megatokyo used to be my fav, but now it's TENKAY! Yeah! Keep up the good work Makoto. BTW you must be hott 'cause if Candy was real she'd be really hot. |

ha ha! thanks, but I'm afraid drawing Candy to be hot just means that I DRAW hot girls... not that I am one
A lot of people have been comparing 10K to MegaTokyo, which is great! I haven't met the guys who do that one, but I know they just started printing their comic from the beginning in book format! Maybe one day I can be cool like that
OH yeah, Kel-- I love Florida! I used to live in Kissimmee because I had a summer job at Disney World. I'd love to go back but nobody there needs japanese-english translator that's why I came to california last summer anyway. But keep practicing the japanese and maybe you can get your college to pay for a trip to Japan for you! Like study abroad or something with your sister city (most american towns have a japanese town as their "sister city"-- like the "sister city" to where I live is Muskegon, Michigan... I don't know how they decided that though!) so students from the USA can go to Japan for teaching/study exchange and stuff sugoi, ne? it's a pretty small planet and DDRing girls are rare so i'm sure we'll meet up and hang out sometime _________________

it's a good story. I can't help but notice good plot lines. them befriending each other can lead to other more interesting plot lines.
keep it up and hurry up and update! *whines* _________________
