Just got these yesterday n_n

The other 97.7 in naoki was 71 greats, the other 97.5 in nearly was also 49 greats o_O;

Also, a question - is Burnin' The Floor offbeat?? I get loads of greats in there. Usually this is how my naoki standards go
1 or 2/<10/<10/<10/>30/<20
If it is, am I supposed to step early or late? I just can't figure this one out. I got D2R in decent PA range, but Burnin' The Floor freakin murders me

Ok, here's the deal with Naoki Standard...On a Max 2 machine...this is totally wrong for playing on EX...

Brilliant 2u:
Very well timed...on beat, step normally and consistant and you'll be fine. With a little fine tuning, this is a guaranteed AAA everytime.

Dynamite Rave:
While it's timing is good, it's easy to pick up random greats. Be sure to pace yourself. Pacing is the key to this entire course. This song isn't as fast as you might think (the BPM is the same as Brilliant 2u, 150BPM) Step solid, and be sure to hit the jumps consistantly.

Celebrate Nite:
Timing is slightly off, and only slightly. Step a little behind the beat, and be sure to pace yourself.

B4u:
The opposite of Celebrate Nite. The steps are slightly early, but not by much. Step solidly and don't hesitate and you'll be ok.

Burnin The Floor:
These steps are timed well, but after playing B4u, you have to make the adjustment back to stepping on beat. Once again, pacing is the key. Step without hesitation, and this song is a breeze...

D2R:
These steps are not timed well at all. They're slightly late for most of the song, but then at the end they actually are on beat. I don't have much advice for this, except play it outside of the course until you get the hang of it, and then "come back after more practice" (think back to the old 5th mix anouncer) In my excessive playing of this course, I have actually managed to get D2R down to 2 greats on 1x...not consistantly, but I'm solidly under 10 everytime now...just work on it...you can do it.

Hopefully, this will help you some. If you have more questions, just ask away. I'll be sure to answer them if I can.

ah yeah, I had celebrate nite really bad for a while, because when I did the left-down-right or updown-left-right parts, I would always hit the eighth note too fast, and get a great on literally every one. I'll have to work on the BTF... I usually get 10 greats in just the first 20 or so steps ;_;

I've never had experience with D2R or B4U being off-beat.

THANK YOU. I've always thought that was the case...

B4U is where I got nearly all of my greats in that course. It's always been my problem song in that course. I would say it's off.

D2R always screws me over in that course. I see great, great, great, perfect, great.... laugh.gif

Well not that bad, but it still screws up my score.

I've never noticed a major problem with any of them on Extreme. I've played Naoki Standard many a time, and though I'm no MaxX Paranoia (Whom I greatly respect and fear), and I can't post up those kinds of scores, my 3808 is a pretty decent score (1328 Combo, FC, 93.7%). I haven't noticed anything terribly off in any of them, so either there's nothing wrong and it's been corrected on Extreme (and with the amount of complaints I've heard about it, this probably isn't likely, at least on MAX2) or I'm just able to adjust well enough without realizing or noticing.

D2R seems fine on Extreme.
