Worse pranks ever pulled on you when DDRing

I just wanted to know if you have ever had pranks pulled on you. Some guy who was watching me put gum one of the pads when i was doing sakura maniac. He placed it on the left arrow just as i stepped on it during the slow part in the middle. My foot got stuck and i failed shortly after that. What the hell?

I highly doubt that you could've failed from that gum. It doesn't stick very well to the pads, because usually the covers for the arrows are plastic. Even if it did stick, though, a wad of gum is can't even get close to stopping the strength of your leg. Back when I was just starting on Light, though, some guy came behind me and then double-tapped the down arrow while I was picking. So, I go one Trick, and then fail about halfway through. Oh course, I couldn't fix it because I had no idea how to change levels.
