I really like the song Crash! on DDREX, but a Google search has yielded nothing on the artists except DDR song-lists. Are they just another in-house Konami song with a fake name, or are they an actual band, in which case, does anyone have any information on them?

It'll grow on you.... I promise.

Next time you play, put the cursor (?) on that song, and see if it says Konami Original in the right hand corner of the picture of the song. (Or did they stop doing that in Max2?)

It's still there on Extreme but I fail to notice on that one since I too can't stand Crash.

It doesn't say Konami Original, but it does have a spinning DDR Extreme (shouldn't it have a DS: EM2 or wherever it came from logo?)

So I think Crash is a Konami Original...but if anyone can get to a Euromix 2 machine, maybe they could see what the spinning thing says. (if EM2 has spinning things)

The spinning thing (the one which spins quickly or slowly depending on the tempo, right?) is nothing but a cube with DDR pads texturemapped on it. However, it's grouped with the rest of the Konami Originals, so.

yes, Crash is in the same category as Let Them Move and Kick The Can. But to answer your question, Crash is a Konami original, it says so on MAX2 for ps2.

I thought it wasnt possible to make a song worse than Let Them Move. Konami has done it again with the release of Crash.

Crash! isn't a bad song, neither is Be In My Paradise or Let Them Move. Daikenkai is a terrible song.

Crash! is decent. Be In My Paradise is very good. Let Them Move blows. Daikenkai is awsome.

Mr. Brain and the Final Band is indeed final, seeing how that is probaly their first and last song.

It is possible to make a song people consider worse than LTM. Take a static noise, turn its volume as high as possible, have a backbeat play in the background, and voila, you just killed millions of people.

Or, just download MAX Retardation for StepMania.

And BTW, Crash > Let Them Move > j00 > Waka Laka > Goatse > The Twist
[gets out flameproof suit and puts it on]

Mr. Brian and the Final Band seem like they are very underground... but more than likely just a Konami original. So don't get your hopes up.frown.gif

By the way, I don't see how people can hate Crash! so much?!?

Let Them Move is... blech... not really good, but I don't HATE it...

Be In My Paradise is pretty cool... but I can see how people can hate BIMP and Let Them Move...

Crash! is a Konami Original.

1. In Extreme, any song with a marquee logo from a DDR mix is a Konami Original. The logo is from the mix where that song made its debut.
2. Crash! was one of the preview songs in DDRMAX2 JPS2. It says Konami Original there.

IMO, Crash! is a great song. The lead singer is hilarious. I think Konami was trying to parody all those really bad rock bands.

I really really don't like the song Crash, but the steps are actually a lot of fun. So I have to play it occasionally. Curses!
