That has got to be one of the best pictures I've seen this year. It perfectly describes how I feel when I think about how the results screen is going to look when I finally start to play this game at the arcade. _________________

Oh yeah, that concept is original
Speaking of real scores, I finally AAAed Tablets Another offbeatpileofcrapkonamisucksatsyncingupbgms. It took just about SEVEN times as many flashing greats as regular greats to get it, and I ended up with a stage score of only 183xxx (682, 106, 16, 6, 35). Does anyone know if the bgm is screwed up in the arcade as well? The bpm speed ups sync it off by just a little bit. |

Doubles all the way!
I just started playing doubles today on 6th Style. It's pretty damn hard, but it's way more fun, IMO. _________________

you hold the button below that one when picking your song. The one that changes the effector sound, to tired to think of its real name. |

I finally passed my first two Flashing 7's today, B4U and V. They really are quite easy now that I've got the hang of them. As for their Another's...
And I still can't pass several regular 7's! The end of Frozen Ray is pissing me off, and I can't even come close to passing Linus yet. I haven't passed Parapara Paradise yet, either. =\
As for AAA's, I still haven't gotten any on 7Keys yet, but I did manage to get an AA on Flowtation and dissolve earlier. My AA on dissolve surprised me, because usually I score terribly on that one. _________________

My L7 now consists of 7 AAA's, 56 AA's, and 6 A's. I finally beat B4U 7key... The only two flashing 7's I can clear are G2 and B4U.

Ceredigm: Holy crap, you made some massive progress fast. It seems like a little while ago you were posting about how impossible Strong Jaeger L7 was. X_x Maybe I got you confused with someone with the *same looking signature picture*, but I doubt it. I don't think I'll ever beat V... though I do have 1514 ex points on it... I just can't seem to keep my life up to clear it. Always finish around 60%

Last time I checked, my overall L7 score was an AA, my overall 7key score was an A, and my overall Another score was a C(thanks to my buddy Macheezmo and his awesome spreadsheets). I need to work on Another now... I suck hardcore at it. 0 AAA's on Another... and only two AAA's on 7key. ;_; I should really go back to kindergarden and learn how to play IIDX like AGOP or Lisu. _________________

IMHO stoic light-7 isn't that bad but I can understand why it's a 7-star. And honestly, it's by far the hardest song on lgiht-7 if you're playing one-handed! (Try it!) |

DAMMIT! I was doing so great earlier, and now I can't even come close to beating V; I keep finishing in the 30-40% range. I was able to scrape by on B4U... but nothing like earlier. At least I was able to get my Hyper Boundary Gate grade up to an A.
...and ACK, I'm ripping my hair out trying to beat R5.

Heh, yeah, I've been playing a TON lately. It's funny, because The Strong Jaeger was on the of the last songs I beat on L7, but it was the first 7 I beat on 7Keys. They're pretty much identical, with a few scratches and extra notes thrown in at the beginning on 7K, but the end is almost exactly the same. _________________

Yeah I played 5-key for a few years before I started IIDX, so when I started playing IIDX on 4th style arcade, I started on 7-key, with songs like Clione and North, and The Earth Light (which I always felt was cheating, because it's practically the same as 5-key... ;) And I passed The Final Countdown on 7-key within a week, so it really didn't take THAT long to get used to 7-key.
Other people will say playing 5-key doesn't help. They're weird. ;) |
