What a great topic, clothing is very important to me when DDRing.

Cargo pants or shorts, MUST HAVE CARGO
Vibrant-colored T-shirt (Orange, Yellow)
the shirt could either be underneath a dark colored plaid shirt with the top 2 buttons undone or just simply worn alone
bucket hat (optional)
baseball type cap (again optional but if going to be worn, must be worn forwards)
as far as footwear goes, any type of sneaker.

My friends and I call this the "Asian Look"

I wear a dark t-shirt (so my overzealous sweating is not so apparent), jeans that fit well (most are too big now that I am somewhat un-fat), a good belt, and my 2-year old Nikes.

Ok i'll give out a better answer..

I just wear whatever. but the one thing i always need are light shoes. I need shoe's that don't have any weight.

usually, which would be most of the time, I wear jeans, a comfortable t-shirt, a bra (definitely could not go without), a pair of my comfy fun socks (they're just the patterned type socks. you know, like tiger print or rainbow), and my sneakers.

i usually play in my rave pants (that i make out of like cotton fabric and shizzle) cuz they're a lil more comfortable that jeans stickin to ya, a tshirt, and no shoes. i cant stand playin with shoes and when i do, it throws me off so bad that i end up takin them off. ive never made the machine sticky or anything and it doesnt really matter cuz they clean it every night at the arcade o.O

Couple of things. One I wear a t-shirt, usually dark colored, don't know why, I don't sweat that much. Second I wear semi-baggy pants, and always pants, I never wear shorts, again I don't know why. I like to wear any kind of sock, it doesnt matter as long as it does not have any stupid holes. For shoes I like to wear running shoes. Most of the time they are lightweight asics.

Whatever I'm wearing--usually consists of slacks or jeans (slacks better), tee/polo shirt (doesn't really matter), thin socks, and my Mephistos (best damn walking shoes you'll ever find).

However, I HAVE played in formal wear before. Had a blister on my big toe for a week, but it was well worth it for the looks on people's faces. :D

Sorry for the kinda long post, but clothes are a crucial part of my DDR playing. Oh yeah, I always have my kickin' glasses and silver watch on. And sometimes when I freestyle or when there's AC in the room, I wear my Ecko hoodie over my T. <--Also kickin'
