the mountasia near me has a extreme machine that is brand new and really awsome but they say the only person that can put in the unlocks is the guy that comes during the week at like 3pm before they open and he might not even do it....i say "you only need to push like 2 buttons inside.....thats it, you already open it to collect quarters so why not do this"....he just kinda shrugged and said "i dont know what to tel ya man, sorry"
how can i convince these people that its not a life or death thing to press a button inside the machine? _________________

I have an idea. Just tell them that if they unlocked it, then they would have more songs that people like open, and they would get more business. And more business equals more money. If that doesn't work, you might try having a bunch of people come and individually ask them to put in unlocks. Then they might get the picture. That is what we are currently trying at our local arcade to get them to GET a ddr machine. let alone unlock it. Thats just some things to try. |

ok here's what you do. You walk up to the manager. And say "Dont be so quick to walk away. I wanna rock yo body."
On a more serious note...if its brand new they might not want to risk ruining it and such. They may not know it like you do. Their mind is focused on the factor that they HAVE a machine. And if they dont know...what its capable of then I dont think they'd let you do it. To them its a risk they're not willing to take especially if it's new. _________________

Same crap happens to me, there's a putt putt by my house with a extreme machine. But he won't open it unless the tech's there. And we've entered the code for this game numverous of tymes (max2) why not this tyme.
My guess is that they read the "Warning" for the game Not to be sold outside of Korea (that's what he said..Korea) and they didn't want to ruin the warranty for their bootleg copy of the game.
So my answer is just ask who is capable of doing this. and just make him do it. _________________

My advice is to just keep trying. There is a solution to every problem. Once the manager guys get used to having the machine, they might become more flexible about it. It's common sense really, but keep at it. You'll pull through sooner or later. |

Explain to them that they will make more money if the unlock code is put in...that's all they really care about. _________________
