Yep, I'm new. I'm also pretty new to DDR so I'm not any good yet. I still can't do some songs on Light yet. disgust.gif Oh well, that's why I practice. I hope to get to know some of you and stuff. My aim is TrepieMaster, and I'm on a lot so feel free to IM me. Yep so that's me pretty much. Thanks for reading.

Another way that I got,"good" was I look at other people's feet when they played, no not just to lok down but to see how their feet moved..

i personnaly got a little better by knowing some stuff:

1.Never put your feet back in the center
2.Always try to hit the arrows with a different foot (not always the right or the left one)
3.Try harder songs in Versus with someone better than you (he'll pass the song and you'll be able to do all you're songs without dying)
4.Don't be affraid to try harder songs alone to..

If you want some advice on how to play...just tell us at least on which mix you're playing

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Players these days.. Don't push your limit on hard songs. Do what you can do. Actually, PERFECT what you can do. People these days are going from light to Heavy in like a month, but they usually "suck". Back in my day (like 3 years ago), EVERYONE played Beginner on the USA mix. When people could full combo one song on Beginner, they did the same song later on Standard(Light). They did this with every song. And look at me now, best PAer in Arizona. E13.gif riiight.gif

i've never pushed myself to the hard songs....yknow....i've been playing DDR for 6 weeks and i'm in the light songs....trying to do some freestyle moves...i only do B4U on standard and MAX 300 on light....that's the toughest poopy that i can do...

but when i say to try harder songs is like if ur doing a 5 feet song with a great grade...don't be affraid to try a 6 footer...yknow

Master what you can do, then move on...

that is your daily advice from "La Average DDR Player".

Don't be discouraged. That's my 2 cents.. I still really, really, really suck at DDR, and I've been playing it for a LONG time, nearly 2 years.(But new to this board.) I just can't move my feet fast enough at all. But, I still play, mostly for fun. I don't get into this newfangled fancy stuff. riiight.gif But, I can do Trip Machine Climax(One of my favorite songs of all time).. so I'm happy.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Currently I can do 4 footers pretty well. I can't do 5 footers too well yet. I usually get Ds on them. But I'm practicing them. I have DDR Max for PS2 and a hard pad. I got a AA on Sandstorm before. I was happy when I did that. I've been trying to get a AA on My Generation. I almost did yesterday but I got a good at the very end.
