well I finally passed my first 7 star song yesterday, it was Flowtation 7 key, i passed it twice acutally. I've worked on Buffalo 7 key a little, hopefully that will be doable soon.
as for AAA's, I've come so close on a few L7 songs, but unfortunitly, I didnt quite make it |

I'm this close to passing Colors Eurobeat. I got through the tough part in the middle ok (I was surprised), but I totally fapped up the one at the end. Of course, I can't practice it at home.. but can anyone recommend a similar song on any home version to practice? _________________

Finally beat Regulus L7 on 5th Style after a few attempts yesterday... does anyone else flip off the screen when you beat a song that's been bugging you for awhile?
So now I've switched my attention over to 6th Style NSC. The last L7 songs I have on that are Get on Beat and The Safari. Get on Beat is so utterly frustrating for me, and I'm not sure why. I just haven't figured out the proper finger placement at all. Still, I'm sure I'll beat that before I beat The Safari.... ugh. That one is going to require some work.
So once again, I poll the IIDX players: What song(s) were the last ones you had to beat on L7 in 6th Style NSC?
(Also, after attempting a few 7s, I passed my first: Route 80's. Seemed pretty easy, in fact. The next one I'll probably end up passing is Era. I stayed at 100% right until that very last bit.)
(EDIT: Ha! The damn forum tried to make me double post SO badly... I got a 'mail server response error' message after I posted, and I ALMOST hit the 'submit' button again. F U PHPbb. God I've always hated this style of forum.) _________________

YES, i totally flip it off when I pass something I've been trying to beat for a while. I also flip it off when I fail something I should have passed.
I am now a versitile player. I mostly play 2 handed now on the 2p side, but for songs with lots of scratches, I'm moving over to the 1p side becuase I can easily scratch and play one handed on 1p. This makes it a whole lot easier for me.
I also passed my first 7* today with 2 hands: Empathy, The Big Voyager, and Voltage. I alsmost beat minimalian but the end hates me. I also almost beat The Finalcountdown, which was extremely surprising considering I never got above 30% before when I've played it.
EDIT: I played 6th style and passed Y31, Holic (with 2hands), and Presto (finally). I could pass L'amour but I can't get those drum rolls (had 100% but dropped on the last drum roll) and if my F-ing keys didn't stick I could have passed blueberry stream (with 2hands).
A day break from IIDX can help you accomplish a lot. _________________

G2 (passed once or twice) and The Strong Jaeger (can7t come close). I never really found Get On Beat WS that hard.. I passed it when L7 5 stars were the hardest songs I could do. The Safari isn't that bad, just a little tricky. The ending sucks though. _________________

Hey I have a question about 5 Key Beatmania Doubles, we have a 5th mix here and im just wondering were some songs meant to be played with 2 people? Theres a part in Deep In You doubles that makes you hit buttons and turntable on both sides at the same time, and I can think of some other ones kinda like that, its stuff like this that is keeping me from making my way up to 6 star doubles. _________________

I have a feeling I will never be able to AAA something *slightly* difficult without an Arcade Style Controller. I have only been able to get 3 AAA's so far... Comment te Dire Adeiu L7, Romeo and Juliet L7, and Comment te Dire Adieu 7key. I am *this* close ".." to AAAing about 7 other songs on L7(within single digits of ex points)... I wish there was some way to make it click better with my konami controller... ;_;
BTW, on 6th style... the last song I cleared was "The Safari"... and the second to last song I cleared was Take it Easy. Now that I can clear everything on L7 with at least an A 100% of the time... I've been working on 7key... which is IMPOSSIBLE... I can only clear one Flashing 7... which is G2... and I still can't clear Hyper Boundary Gate... which is only a 6 star! X_x I desperately need a different style to play... ugh. _________________

Try asking in the Official Beatmania Thread.
You'll have more luck there.

I AAAed Holic 7 Key, but I couldn't find my digital camera. ;_;

Oh man, I do that every time I pass a song, regardless of whether it's been giving me trouble or not. Haha, I thought I was the only one who did that _________________
