Problems with Memory Card on DDR

Hey, i'm new here, but not new to DDR, anyways thats not what this post is for. This has happened to me twice and is very frustrating: I buy a PS2 memory card, use it with DDRMax, and a few days later, i try and play and it says that the memory card is corrupted. I was like what just happened?

So i go out to buy another PS2 memory card. A few days later, the same thing happens. I don't want to spend another 30 bucks for another memory card

. Cheapy me.... But its also frustrating because I lose all my good grades, scores, and songs. Buh Bye "B" on Max 300..... Does anybody know what causes, how to avoid, or how to fix this?

its sounds like you either got screwed twice or you're game has some bug. try saving on another copy of the game

for some reason the same happens to me, my ddr file keeps getting fried.

I don't want to buy another memory card >.<

. I thinking about switching my DDRmax with my friends copy when he's not looking....

First off, yes, this belongs in Console Discussion.

Your memory card is not corrupted, just the data on it is. You can delete the data from the PS2 browser interface.

And as for stopping it from corrupting, just don't turn off the game while it's saving. You know, when it says "Don't turn off the game or remove the memory card"? That's 98% likely the problem.
