Okay....maybe he's a big poser, maybe not. It really shouldn't matter. I was getting the hang of Afronova Basic my first day, and I consider that an accomplishment. Perhaps he's a prodigy? |

Actually...
160 IQ, and I took a lot of dance classes at a younger age.
So... add it up... _________________
The first 3 songs in DDR Extreme I heard were (in this order):

Xenon

But certainly not my last. |

Well, IQ seriously has nothing to do with this game....it's all about rhythm. Of course, dance lessons probably helped...but, hell, I've got a 171 IQ and I outright sucked at DDR for a month after I started. ^^
Another point to prove my theory: my brother, who's in a bunch of special ed classes, does alot of routines with me, he's quite good....he's one my main DDR "partners". So, IQ doesn't really play much a role in playing DDR....I sound like a broken record. >_< _________________

Um... now that I think of it, PARANOiA Survivor kinda surprised me.

Paranoia Surivor Max's challenge steps surprised the fuck out of me, but I believe that that is the case for everyone. The heavy steps to Memories also caught me off guard, because they were much more complicated than I expected them to be. _________________

PSM [O] didn't really surprise me. I expected it to be harder actually. That end run didn't surprise me, it just raped me. |

I know what you mean, it's preventing me to FC/AA it. It's those chain steps that link to another. Easy 7 footer!! |

I <3 Ordinary World for that reason alone. That song has kept me alive in a tournament or two more than once, because you choose it and most opponents just roll their eyes at the notion of a slow-sounding 7-footer. But then the freeze-step-step, freeze-step-step part comes in at the start and end, and well ... honestly, I've seen so many people screw that up. _________________

i'm sure this song was mentioned before but for me it was flash in the night......
.....was playing it at a con for my first time and i was just dumbfounded at those arrows in the beginning.....just stood there and looked ridiculous, trying to figure them out in my head............then when they came at the end i tried to hit them but only managed to hit two arrows.......just made me look foolish!!! oh well...just more experience to cherish _________________

Probably the only 8 footer I have to bar rape, and I still have not got an A on the damn song yet.
Konami.....you dick heads.
And some of you ppl think Bag is hard on Singles.....GOD try it on doubles. One of the players in so Cali ( PAI, Road 2 Slow Mutha Fucker ) could read Bag on singles easily, never used speed mods. Tried that song on doubles, damn, he failed quick. It was such a suprise to him, he thought he can read it, but he couldn't.
MAX300 doubles...ok I'm gonna past the songs, until that damn Drop Out like steps just comes from no where at the end.

OMG, don't ever say that.
Ok of my friends at the arcade I go too never played DDR. He usual plays BMIII and SF 3 3rd strike. He see me playing one day, he said he'll give it a shot. I'm like ok, whatever. He goes for Heavy, I looked at him and ask "Are you sure you want to do that" he said DDR is too easy.
First song. V Heavy......Pass it
Second Song I forgot...Pass it
Third Song...Colors Oni...Failed it
The Next day, he give it another shot
First song ..Frozen Ray ( my pick ) made it to the end when he failed
Second Song.. Failed, whatever it was
Third song...Pass it ( I forgot )
He told me after that, he never playing DDR again.....He plays it now, once every Blue Moon when his GF feels like it ( which is not much )
So Don't ever doubt someone skill. Some ppl are just fast learners~! |

Drop Out heavy. The jumping wasn't that bad for me, though it was surprising the first time I saw it. The part that got me was towards the end I got hit by the ridiculously fast 8th notes out of nowhere, and I just sorta stomped in any direction I could see, hoping I'd hit some. (I still suck at fast 8th notes) |
