If your used to it you can. Once you get a good hang on Pump, you don't need to bar rape even when you think you absolutly have to. I mean, if anyone knows a lot about SLAM crazy, it is insane, but once you know most of the steps, you don't really need to bar rape. SLAM XX is actually one of the hardest songs out there.

I've beaten everything on Pump too, I've even managed to pull off slam as a 4th song on a machine with auto-fail on, so I can pretty much stomp that song into the ground. Slam is a hard song, its probably the hardest on singles in premier 2/3, but when you start talking abouth the XX songs, Slam isn't quite as bad anymore.

funny about larpus doubles though, I beat that long before I could even touch the Can Can.

there are no 'unlock' songs on Premier 3, that friend is spewing crap, I've gotten 4 S's on crazy and doubles before, and nothing happens, so don't worry about it.

also, Prex 2 came out before premier 3, it was like a month or 2 ahead of it

Hey I am going to quote a very reputable source here in finding out information on the Korean 9th mix of Pump. Whether or not it will make it over to the states in the form of Premiere 4 is still unknown.

This is a friend of mine who had correct info on Premiere 3 over a month before it was officially announced, so he must be talking to the right people:

"Before Premiere 3 came out, I knew two months in advance about there being English and Spanish songs in the mix and I had gotten a copy of Bee two months before it was even announced as well (remember Caos B?). Now I have found out some info about the new Korean mix which you people might be really happy to hear. Let me just tell you now, I am not saying what this source is, but believe me. There is probably no better source than this.

Here we go. First off, for sure there is going to be a new mode in this game. Odds are that it will be a long version mode *gasp*, but this specific mode isn't anything I can confirm now. Secondly, it's REALLY a Korean mix. None of this international stuff. Be glad to hear that. Next is the fact that you people might like the most: they realize how much we want Korean shizznit in American/International mixes and since they know about this, it really can't mean much else than the fact that they will somehow bring it over here later. And to close it off, here's something which will shock you. It's going to be officially announced in JULY.

This source didn't fail me at all for Premiere 3, so I'm pretty sure it won't this time
"

Sounds like good news so far...

I think someone mentioned Michigan Adventure, the theme/amusement park. I honestly have no clue, though.

Hello everyone. I've been playing PIU up on and off since march. My arcade recently upgraded our Premier 2 machine to Premier 3 and I must ssay I'm very disappointed. Maybe it's just me but the song selection seems a lot smaller and a lot of my favorite songs are now missing from the mix. It also seems to lag a lot (possibly because it's running on the Premier 2 hardware. Not positive about this but that would be my best guess). I don't know what Andamario was thinking when they took Turkey March out of the new version. But, through all the downs the new songs are great and Mokey Magic is always a blast. What does everyone else think of P3?

Too many Korean songs are missing.

The best Premiere 3 would include Zzanga, CB Mass songs, Caution (hard mode), Loner, and Space Fantasy as well as Turkey March, FAEp. 1, Naissance, Emporer, and Pump Jump.

I miss pretty much all the extra songs, there were a few missing even on Prex 2 (Circus Magic anyone?)

but yeah, they should have actually listened to people when deciding what songs to cut for premier 3, wheres my fuggin Lets Boogie and Dance With Me.... grrr
I swear, they better fix this for premier 4, I mean, it seems konami can handle putting a crapload of songs on a machine, I wish andamario would follow suit and do something drastic like putting everything they ever made on 1 machine

Konami uses a different video compression tool, so they save disc space. Andamiro still uses old video formats which take up a lot of space on the disc.

I wouldn't want to see every song on one mix. But I wish they had a way of picking out the really bad songs and leaving them off. They seem to keep bad songs and leave out the favorites.

There is one up here in Traverse City. its in the grand traverse mall in the arcade, its called pocket change. although the version is OBG or something... it seems as though its one of the lackluster mixes of Pump, its pretty fun and paying only .50 for doubles is badass. but TC is out of your way sand i dunno where any other Pump machines might be,.

Question from someone who never played Pump before but is looking to git into it: If I was to buy a Pump machine, which would be the best mix for variety and quantity?
I went to the web-site and all the songs on premiere 3 ( with the exception of Banya's stuff) was hip-hop, which I don't like in such large doses. What mix has the most Kpop, and stuff like the song 'Loner'?
thanks.

PREX1 is pretty good in terms of Kpop. Yes, it does have Loner. It also has Lazenca, I Am Trashman (or whatever the heck the Korean letters translate to), Circus Magic (with the ultra mysterious XXX.X BPM), Monkey Magic, Space Fantasy (if you're into hyper Korean songs that is), the Sechkies songs, Deux songs (Ive heard that one of the members were killed by a jealous girlfriend), Man and Woman (one of the best swing songs in a dancing game, tied with Heaven is a 57 metallic gray on DDREX), Guilty Concience (sort of like the I Like to Move It of PREX), Big Money (The people in the background are a little freaky), and Seperation with Her. WARNING! WARNING!: There's a section on the disc wheel dedicated to Apop songs. There are only about 5 of them there, and the best one is Take On Me, with Mambo #5 a close second. I wish that Andamiro did the more upbeat version instead of the one PREX (see the beginning of Corky Romano to hear the upbeat version).

I got most of the 16th runs down on Mr. Larpus Crazy. I can consistantly beat Chicken Wing XX singles (if that's the one on Crazy on PREX), and my head gets handed to me on FAE1 XX singles. Well gotta go!

Ok, another PIU question:
The machine that I am on the verge of getting, should I want it, comes with 8 discs, 6 of which can be rotated regularly, and 2 which s'posedly need a board upgrade to run (no problem). This info is coming from a contact of my pop's in Korea, and I'm just looking for a little verification on this.
Are all these discs different mixes or something? What mixes, if you can tell from this vague information? And what exactly are the last 2 discs?
Any of this make sense?

Thanks for any help I get, I'm almost completely in the dark when it comes to PIU.

You might have any 6 of these interchangeable mixes:

The first dance floor
The second dance floor
The third (oldies but goodies, or season evolution)
The collection
Perfect Collection
The Premiere
The PREX
The Premiere 2

The versions that require a chip installed to operate are

Extra
The Prex 2 (possibly)
The Premiere 3

For a complete list of the songs on each mix, so to http://www.wvpumpers.com/songlist.html

but in the list, the new mixes only have songs listed that are NEW to that particular mix. Not the returning songs from the previous mixes.

For a list of new Premiere 3 songs, go here:
http://www.pumpitup.co.kr/premiere3/download.html

Premiere 3 is the newest, but has THE LEAST number of songs in the mix. Prex 2 (also called Extra+Plus) is probably the best version in terms of song selection out there.
