In my opinion, BMR's Colors Oni steps screw me over every time. Stepmania is too cheap I think, the framrate is not as smooth as DWI's and thus allows me to hit arrows off key and get greats. I can beat it on Stepmania but not DWI. But I am actually gonna download the pledge right now.

Hardest song thats physically possible... (I dont think it's possible to clear max3000, no one can hit arrows that fast, even randomly..  )
I think it's The Pledge Challenge. It is possible on 3X solo boost mini, thats what i nearly passed it on.... Damn tiring though, gave me a hand cramp  thats why i failed >.<

It *is* possible to pass BMRs V (coughIIDXKEYRIPcough). Just don't attempt it unless you have a deathwish or something. |

V isn't that hard once you get used to it. I could probably full combo it, if it wasn't for that twisting section.

| Hard DWI's... Dunno. I guess BMR's A speaking realistically, stupid DWI's (Payon, Max 3000, The Pledge) just don't count, if you want a hard DWI then give me 5 minutes to make one, 250BPM, solid 1/24's on all arrows at the same time along to the barney song. Stupid. Alot of stuff I used to find hard I don't anymore, Gravity is still a bitch but only because it hurts, it's not actually hard... But when your arms get tired... yeah Gravity. |

| Pledge is the most sickening DWI ever...the END. There is nothing harder than that beast...for a challenge though, download Boom Boom Gayness off Bemanisims, my friend made it, the challenge steps are pretty darn hard without any mods. |

songs like Payon, or the pledge or whatever shouldnt count as the hardest songs becuase the steps have no logic in them. Steps that do are BMR's Gravity, Cynic's Mind Parasite, etc. becuase the steps take advantage of everything the music has. I think mind parasite on challenge is the hardest song ever.

No, it is quite impossible. Even if you could physically move fast enough to hit the keys, the data transfer rate of a standard PS/2 or USB keyboard simply isn't fast enough to handle it.
I passed the Pledge's challenge steps once with a weird version of DWI that was horribly lenient on your lifebar...but I only got a D....
Other than that, an actually passable DWI that's freaking hard to pass is Cyanide 2600. You will fail it if you don't take freezes off, and not because of any SM bugs. Even then, it's a freaking hand cramp going so long and being near constant taps and runs and jumps.
