Hello everyobdy! I have DDR Max on PS2, and I also go to the arcade and play there. I have gotten an A on Paranoia Evolution, I have passed Orion .78 (civilization mix), which were huge accomplishments for me, and I am now starting to practice songs in standard mode now.
I have recently unlocked the song Max 300. Any tips on passing this song? Oh my gosh it is so hard for me right now!
If you respond, thank you sooo much!!

I couldn't pass Max 300 light until I was about halfway through standard.

But if you REALLY wanna pass it, there' really nothing you can do except play it over and over again. You could listen to it outside of DDR so you know the song, but that wouln't help much as the light steps don't really follow the beat.

Sorry if I wasn't helpful..

My strategy: Start playing light songs on 2~3x speed. For, some slow songs like "Sana Morette Ne Ente" or "Secret Rendez-Vous," you can probably speed up to 5x speed if you feel really ballzy.

This was at least my strategy for beating Max300 on Standard. After playing it on Light at 2x speed(!...), it just seems so damn slow afterwards ^.^

No doubt about listening to the song outside of DDR. I listened to on the drive to work everyday for a long time, and the next time I tried it, I had a muhc better ryhthm for it.

I'd also play it by hand a lot, just to know what to expect, but then I can pass just about anything by hand (too bad my feet wont follow suit).

And of course, Training Mode. I just slowed the speed of the song down to 3 till I could survive it, then bump it up to 4, rinse & repeat. Next thing I knew I could survive it regularly on Standard at normal speed.

Now if I could just tackle Heavy version. I'm sure it'll come. Just like how there was a time I thought Maxx300 Light was utterly impossible, Then I passed it. Then I thought Standard was utterly impossible. etc, etc.
