He's not that good... Not to sound like an ass, but he only won because James Games 4 down south attracted all of the good players. |

He perfers playing in those shoes. Specifics? I dunno. I mean, I perfer my leather shoes over my New Balance when playing, but anyway.

I just wish they had some of the songs I always liked playing like Wonderland or Strictly Business or Xanadu. I'm glad they brought back Keep on Movin because I so liked that song. _________________

I cannot really determine how popular the game is around here anymore...they took the local machine away.
But...we are supposed to get one back within a few weeks.
I have kept in touch with some of the players...and they all say that they will still play. Yes, there have been a few people who have dropped out of the DDR scene, but most of us, myself included, still play.
Having said that, I must say that after a year of playing, I have gotten a little tired of the game. Its not like I'm uber-master or anything, it's just that not having easy accses to a machine has caused my intrest to wane slightly. Even to the DDR "staples" like cfusionpm are growing tired of it.
Regardless, there will always be players, at least for the forseeable future. _________________

i believe he likes to play in them. but i also think they allow him to do freeze arrows a little easier. because of the low grip on a freeze they slightly move reactivating the arrow. but you know its all a matter of opinion really. u play how u want to play. |

I've been playing for almost a year now. I haven't lost interest in the game one bit yet. Ill lose interest, when I AA all songs on heavy. I still got a long way too go for that. I can only B 10 footers. |

I say it's an even balance. Older players may lose interest while newer fans are really getting into it. That's my idea of it. |

In my area, its popularity has only gotten much much better. When I first started 3 months ago, There was 7 people who were into DDR. Now, when I go to the arcade there is about twice that. |

I'm still totally into DDR, becauyse only a few months ago(February, CBN), I coulod barely pass 7 footers, but now I'm getting into a lot of catas. I'm a slow learner, cause I started back in February 2002. I'm also getting into a lot of heavy on doubles, aand all I care about is PASSING the songs, not AA's or AAA's. _________________

I'm in my P/A part of DDR. I have 10s of AAAs on light, about 2 on heavy. For me DDR is becoming more and more fun. Especially with the achievement of getting your score up on #1 on all nonstop and oni singles
DDR won't likely die soon, I can say that. |

I think the game is still popular but for the people who have been playing for awhile it is easy to loose interest cause when you hear the same 10 songs over and over and over again you loose motivation to play. If you've been playing since 3rd mix, how many times can you hear Drop the Bomb, Dynimate Rave, Kick the Can, Japan and B4U before you dropkick somebody. Songs you use to love not you hate with a passion specially when you see the same people playing on light and have been for 3 months. Don't get me wrong I remeber what is was like to be a new player but think God I had friends who always want to make me better play so they picked harder songs and I wanted to be on there level but some players just don't want to move up and it drives you crazy.
Another thing that was mention before is the magic is just not there anymore. It seems that 4th and 5th mix and still the favs and I can't tell you why but I know if I had to choose between 5th and 7th I'll be on 5th alot more and what I hear about Extreme, I'm in now hurry to play it anymore. May the song selection or maybe its the dancing charaters but the magic has gone in DDR well for me anyway but I still play but I don't think it will be for long. _________________
