Same here I need my high speed too, but I tend to play way too fast sometimes (ok all the time). I play almost everything on IIDX hi3, and on Complete Mix 2 its hi3/random. |

If your trying to play on the 2p side by yourself, and you switched the turntable to type a, then when you play, it will still be type b.
Why? Because if your playing by yourself, just play on the 1p side. I guess that's Konami's reasoning on it. If you play 2p however, it will of course work correctly. _________________

I've got an odd and stupid question.
I recently bought IIDX 3rd Style as my first home style. I havent played my copy of it yet, but I have played a friends copy a bunch of times. I liked the game alot, so I was crazy to buy it.
That is, though, before I recently tried 6th Style.
I love it. And for some odd reason, I'm more accurate with keystokes, my combos last longer, and my "fingering" isint all screwy, like it was in 3rd Style, which I was sure was my newbisness. Beginner mode is a nice additon, along with the unlocks and the other extras.
I'm thinking of selling off my 3rd Style to buy 6th Style, but before that, I wanna know is there any reason to keep 3rd Style? I just want to be a lil' sure on the matter. The last thing I want is for me later to be kicking myself saying "I cant believe I sold that game!".
Also, how much should a new copy of 3rd Style go for?
I know its a dumb question, but I'm serious about it, so dodge the flames.
Thanks. _________________

I play 3rd and 6th more than anything else, and I own every style.
The S.O.S's are fun, Calcutta's video is hilarious, Schlagwerk, Dynamite Rave, EotC, CSFIL, dong tepo, 3rd style has TONS of great songs, even if the interface sucks.
Keep your 3rd and love it. _________________

The main reason not to sell 3rd style is it has a zillion awesome songs. I'd rather have 3rd AND 6th if I were you. But if you have to pick one or the other? 6th is cooler ;-) |

1. Dr. Bombay
2. Dunno about the US, but in Japan 3rd style doesn't sell for much. Used copies are usually about $15 US, and new ones are probably about $25. One day you'll probably want to have all the styles, so just hang on to it. It's not worth selling for the money you'll get for it. _________________

I nearly passed Presto [A] with a 76%.
P.S. A [L7] is evil in 2 ways. One way is obvious, the other has to do with the notes.
EDIT: Well I guess either you people are stumped or no one wants to read this, so I'll just post the answer: A [L7] HAS 666 NOTES.

Strong Jaeger? Pretty impressive for one of your first 7s.. I can pass a good number of 7s (Rottel-da-sun [without easy] and Xenon [easy] probably being the hardest) but I can't come close to passing Jaeger [L7], and I'm too lazy to work on it in training mode. _________________

That is an impressive jump you have made. I remember back at Playland when you were having trouble with light7 songs, now your clearing 7*s. Keep it up buddy . _________________

And The Earth Light is in ZOE1.
And I think In My Eyes plays in Silent Hill 2's Dog Ending.
EDIT: Oh, and if you're going to keep posting pics, try to either keep them around Ryan's size, or link them. Thanks. |

The Strong Jaeger was the first 7 I passed. I find it strange that you can pass Xenon (even on Easy) but you can't pass The Strong Jaeger? Rottel-da-sun is fun as well.
As for other 7's I can pass, I can only pass a few, but off the top of my head I believe they are Absolute, Rottel-da-sun, Buffalo, The Strong Jaeger, and Flowtation.
...And as for AAA's, the closest thing to an AAA I have right now is my AA on Flowtation [L7]. _________________
