DDR Manga 2-- The 10K Commotion

thanks! I guess Candy is kinda like the responsible member of their team... but about that bra scene... (keh heh heh) Hana's underwear will figure quite a bit over the whole storyline, it's kinda part of her character...

since you asked, that scene was inspired by the actual (older Makoto) Takeshi, who writes some naughty fiction and actually does do research like that before writes it. (Although usually he and the other guys here just get Victoria Secret catalogues, I decided in my comic Chaser would actually go to the VS store in person. Since Hana loves fancy underwear too, it would be the perfect place for them to meet... and in the next update, we'll see what Scott thinks of that)

I LOVE IT MAKOTO! Fantabulous! Can't wait for another update... and the way you drew VS... its practically perfect! I should know, I worked outside of one at a kiosk for a few month, and saw it almost everyday! And I love the whole Candy and Cyber thing.... that was great! Heehee...

you know, I almost got a job at Victoria Secret part time, but then when I applied, I realized they get paid by how much they sell! Like you start out making almost nothing and then you work up to a better paycheck by pressuring people into more expensive underwear!

So I said "No Sankyuu~!" and got a job at Ben & Jerry's instead

It tired my hands, but at least I didn't have to wonder if I'd get paid or not! (plus Dyna's right... B&J employees get the free ice cream hook up!

btw, I think someone asked me about it because they were confused but to clear things up-- Yes, Scott and Hana are dating. No, Chaser doesn't know that. Yes, he's making some moves but No, no one will be cheating on anybody else. I hate that, it's not cool to draw either. hana and Scott will resolve their differences in "alternative" ways--

but you can't have 10 healthy, young, athletic guys and girls in one story and expect them not to make any moves, right? they'll have a good time

Well this certainly got a little umm... :: cough :: interesting in the latest update. It will be quite intriguing to see how it pans out.
Corporatesatan--- Makoto has a picture of herself on page four near the bottom of the page. Actually it is the last post. I believe the drawings are quite accurate. I know this much for Makotos drawing of Kel anyway. She nailed it as best as any artist I have ever known. She is super awesome and I once again bow to her superb talents.

Remember that geeky schoolgirl can be quite hot, too. I think what the guys are suffering from when it comes to Candy is just that. Remember the pleated skirt at the beginning of chapter 2? These are DDR playing, anime watching, manga reading, Japanese schoolgirl ogling boys we're talking about here. Of course they'll find that hot!

I mean, look at the guys... obviously the ones with longer hair are more attractive. It's in the manga code. Hair that goes past the ears makes a guy considerably more attractive for each centimeter, but not if it gets past the shoulders, unless there's a ponytail. Long hair not in ponytail pushes guy past pretty boy and into looks like a woman. Short hair is usually only worn by guys meant to be completely unattractive to the readers.

So I think my general conclusion in this post is: the guys'll stare anyway. You're a mad cool DDR playing Japanese speaking manga drawing girl. Actually, you can take out about 8 words there and it's true for some guys.

I don't see why it's so important to have long hair to be attractive if you are a guy... grrrrr...

Hey now... Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer had short hair, and mmmmmm..... He is definately hot in my book! Of course, Touga from Utena has long hair AND wears it down, and boy oh boy!

awww, saiyajin, don't feel bad! these guys have a lot of hair, but I agree with Kel-- there are other factors that can increase a guy's "hot" stats besides hair.
