The end of Ska A Go Go isn't that bad. The first time I played it I was on heavy, and I was breaking combo all over the place (the triplet jumps, that annoying tempo slowdown, etc.), but I comboed the run at the end easily.

I just haven't done so since. -_-

I thought the end of Ska a Go Go standard was very fun, even though I got Goods on like half of the steps at the end.

I accidentally chose So Deep Maniac one time when I was still doing 5-6 footers. I was like "AHHHHH WALL OF STEPS!!!" and kinda ran around on the arrows hoping I was hitting some of them.

true... ~Radio Edit~ is NOT a 7...

Yeah True ~radio edit~ is harder than the sunrise trance IMHO, the last few of that caught me off guard..

Paranoia Survivor, I just played it on standard and got pwned by the slow pauses that occurs every other 5 seconds..

Legend of Max at the end, the jumping..

I don't know if this counts but for Stepmania (my cousin has a USB port with pads) the song "Heaven".. there was several parts where you had to push left,up,down at the same time, and 4 freeze arrows at once.. Felt like playing twister or something trying to use knees and hands. Of course there's alot of overwhelming songs but that was just wack.

They're just 1/16th notes on two arrows, and it's only like 140 BPM or something. Everyone just sees the huge column of arrows and goes "WTF?!" and steps as fast as they can, rather than staying calm and stepping at the right pace.

That's what I say...no one believes me.

I've played the song twice and FC'ed the 16th note strings both times.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Kiss, Kiss, Kiss Heavy yet. I looked at the Radar for the first time, and figured, "hmm...8 feet, lots of freezes, should be pretty easy. And then I noticed the horror of turning with freezes......still gives me nightmares.

Anti-boost on Ecstasy in Trick. I was in absolute shock when I saw that for the first time.

Drop Out scared the poopy out of me the first time I played it. I was like, "Wtf? How am I supposed to jump that fast?" I made it past that part (How, I have no idea. I can't do it again.) and almost had a heart attack on the end run..

Hah, yeah. I had even seen a video of that before I tried. "Doesn't look too tough!" In fact, even when I played it my first time, I didn't fail in the first four steps like most people.

It took me something like 8 steps. riiight.gif I was like, "Why am I stepping at the wrong time?!"

Second try, I nailed the song (FC), but that first try is brutal. And it still kills my PA for some reason. =/

Jam Jam Raggae - Soooo... Slooooow...... (first time I tried was on Trick - barely passed it riiight.gif)

MSL - I knew what was coming from the comments here. I prepared the best I could by doing some slow songs before it.
But it still managed to surprise me...

Tsugaru - First encounter with gallops

So Deep - What... the...

Strangely though (as it seems that lots of people were caught by it), I was never really surprised by HVAM. Maybe its because I started playing it from Trick (or maybe even Basic), so by the time I did it on Maniac I already knew exactly where the freeze was.

Waka Laka (heavy) - Middle sequence

Deep In You (heavy) - Couldn't understand the beats at first

Ordinary World (heavy) - Just confused the hell outta me at first

Rhythm and Police (doubles heavy) - This should NOT be an 8 footer

Moonlight Shadow (doubles heavy) - I picked this as a warm up for my first time. I noticed it was a 7 footer and didn't expect to even break a sweat....than I noticed the entire song is crossovers! Failed...it was my first round too -_-

Paranoia Eternal (Doubles heavy) - The middle crossovers!
Paranoia Eternal old steps (Singles Heavy) - the consecutive 8th note runs.

Flash in the Night (Heavy) - What the hell is that beginning and end crap. I understand it now, but that's what I thought to myself when I first tried it.

So Deep (Heavy) - The ending part still messes me up...

Trip Machine Climax (Heavy) - Has some tough short sequences that I still can't FC.

Leading Cyber (Heavy) - I passed this my first try by luck...The middle part had me stepping everywhere hoping my bar would't drop completely.

Forgot one: the weird 1/16 parts of Justify my Love. Playing along, hm, few gallops, eight notes, easy shiet....*enter wall of arrows* *FAILED* me: "Um, what the hell just happened?!"
