Hummm.... well, My control box is shot for the version 2 CG pad. I wrote to cyphergames and no reply, since they don't offer ones on their site for sale.
Does anyone know where I can get one or maybe have a spare???
The pad is useless and it's just not the same going back to my plastic pad. |

That's an arcade pad, hehe. That would be neat to have.... maybe somewhere around the internet theres a ddr cord link to ps2 cord.... and then u can buy that one and play it.... what am i saying, that will never happen. Anyways, that wouldnt work for your ps2. and if you were willing to buy that 1... buy a cobaltflux www.cobaltflux.com _________________

I don't think the beat gear website even exists anymore... correct me if I'm wrong, but www.beat-gear.com isn't up...

Well if it is true I highly doubt anyone will do business with him anymore as his reputation is ruined. No ones fault but his own. |

If u take the rubber supporters off it doesnt do anything except make the steps not sink in as far. _________________

DDRFreak: I did your mod on my pad, and it worked for about 15 mins excelent. The responsiveness was perfect. But then, I was playing a song and it totally stoped working, the lights still lit up, but the buttons wont register. When I unplug it and plug it back in it works for a little while again, and as soon as I start a song it goes out after just a few steps. What should I do? |

Hi everyone. I bought a MyMyBox pad (Is it MyMyBox? I remember "MyMy" in the name..)
it's a metal pad, pretty standard looking. Umm.. after like a month of use, the left side had started to lift up, so when I jumped or hard/swift step onto the left side it would squeak and hit my floor (floor is tiling..)
Is this due to improper handling (i.e. when moving around, lifting it on a side, which would cause imbalance, which would , in the end cause the pad to bend) or maybe something is loose? (the bottom of the pad isn't even, anymore). Could I fix this?
Also, would putting carpet on the bottom of it (i.e. a rug maybe?) could help keep my pad safe for a while, so that it doesn't keep htiting the tiling, which would cause more damage?
Thanks a lot.
-GiZMO
EDIT:
The damages are I think bends in the frame.
and Err... maybe mine are generic.. they dont look like MyMyBox pads that i've seen in this thread.. I think it's http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3026514597&category=21185
Eh... I got it for $60 /w shipping anyway. |

Looks like a modified MyMyBox to me, or a new improved mymybox.
Oh, and I fixed my pad that was shorting out. I had too much foil on the bottom side. I found some 1/8 foam at Lowes in the pluming section for 20, seems to be enough to do 30 arrows. It's self adhesive, and both sides are already covered in a thick metal foil. I tried using the whole side covered in foil, but it was shorting something so I had to cut it down to just in the middle. Works great now, thanks for the mod!
Oh, and does anyone know where you can get a full sized arrow graphic made? |

I am interested in getting an official Konami metal pad. Never mind the price, I'm just wondering if they are still available anywhere.
Thanks. _________________

Just got my Cypher Games v2 today. I was wondering if it would be alright if I played on it for a day or two, then got the lexan and modded it? _________________

Should be fine, long as you don't do any knee drops or anything other than just regular playing. Took my arrows over a month to crack, and that was with sneakers. _________________
