Inputting DDR Codes

I love to go to Dave and Busters to play DDR (lots of people, few players, more time for me to shine) but i am pissed because they aren't exactly on top of the DDR scene. The one in San Diego has no songs unlocked, and i wanted to ask how to input codes into the machine by myself. Do i need help from the staff? cause i want to bust out LOM in fornt of a lot of people. how do you input codes into DDR Extreme???
