Prex 2 is basically a combination of Premiere 2 and Extra, meaning it contains the new songs from Premiere 2 and the older stuff from Extra that wasn't on it. Unfortunately there is no half double on Prex 2, but it's still a killer mix, I wish our arcade would make the upgrade. |

here comes another pump player
yo Megido, I remember you from pump extreem too, when are you getting your lazy butt to the mall of america?
I haven't been playing as much recently, but I get out once every week or 2, just so I can reamin confident that I can whoop on the resident premier 2 and 3 machines with impuity.
as far as hard songs go...
Crazy
Holiday - hope you like tripples
Can Can - Larpus on crack
Final Audition Ep.1 - 16th notes at 189 BPM, WHY!?!
Slam - the holy grail of pump songs
WilloWisp - mixed 8th 16th note runs at 210 bpm, not as bad as it sounds, but nothing to overlook either
Doubles
Larpus - twist-2-3-4-twist-2-3-4
Can Can - again, larpus on crack (I haven't beat this, no more prex in my area to try)
Holiday - again, I hope you like tripples, oh yeah, most evil hold note in pump history at the end too (I haven't beat this no more prex in my area to try)
Vook - most stamina draining song ever made |

Do we still not have an arcade? |

I dunno, you tell me. I've been wondering though, even if Planet Fun comes back, what are the chances of Pump coming back, seeing as how it's now in some bowling alley. I would explode if PF came back with no Pump. |

Well I am hoping to get to MOA by August. Maybe Mid-August. Does MOA have a Premiere 3 yet? I know they had at least 2 Pump machines last year. |

Yeah, the 4th floor sports bar arcade has a premier 3
Camp snoopy has a Premier 2 and a DDR 3rd Korean 2
Token Rates there are
$1 = 3
$5 = 18
$10 = 40
$20 = 90
the games cost 3 tokens each
then theres Jillians with its VERY GOOD premier 2, it costs an arm and a leg to play, but that pad is drool-worthy
they used to have 3 premier 2's. but the sports bar arcade upgraded like 3 weeks ago.... too bad premier 3 is crap, I just want my prex back |

Yeah, they took out WAY too many songs. It's kind of a step backwards as far as song selection goes. But I have not played any of the 20 new songs, so that is my main desire right now.
As for the new songs, they also should have added more features like the hold steps and varying speeds. |

Since you've been to the MOA, recently as it sounds, do you know what mixes of DDR they have there as well? I remember seeing one PIU machine in Camp Snoopy, and one DDR 4th mix there, but this was before I started playing, so I assume they've gotten something better.. |

no 4th mix
They haven't upgraded thier sole DDR machine Since I started playing pump back in January of 2002
its the Same 3rd Korean 2 they've had forever
so the count is this
DDR 3rd - 1 - Camp snoopy
Pump Premier 2 - 2 - Camp Snoopy / Jillians
Pump Premier 3 - 1 - Sports bar arcade
I live 2 miles away from the mall, so its a small matter for me to go there |

So, I played Premiere 3 yesterday and was very disappointed.
Here is what I wrote about it in my blog:
PIU Premiere 3 was disappointing. Some of the songs seemed very out of sync, and I wasn't terribly impressed with the song selection. The UI is pretty, and I like being able to once again switch between all play modes on the fly. I played some of the new songs and they ok, but I was really hoping for more of the older songs as well. Nearly all of the good BanYa stuff from Premiere 2 is sadly missing, except for Dyna^H^H^H^HWinter (go figure). Chicken Wing makes its return which is nice, but there's really no good old songs (c'mon where's the Seo Taiji and other awesome licensed stuff that is so sorely missed from Extra). It's mostly new licensed tracks, and a few of the BanYa standards. Maybe it will grow on me after a while, who knows. |

What exactly IS Lazenca from the song Lazenca Save us.....??? Anyone know? |
The way the song sounds as well as the movie suggests that Lazenca is a god of either evil or death. The singer is calling to this Lazenca to destroy certain people, maybe those who stomp and bar hug.
I have a question myself: what does the Korean writing on NEXT's 174.6 song translate to. I think it says I am Trashman, but Im not sure.
Chicken wing does have some instances of machine guns. And it is at 200BPM! Too bad it coulda been harder (like taking out most of the holds and put in more evil stuff). I beat this twice already.
(Techno) Extravaganza has 16ths at 195! Have fun with this one!
I personally think that 3 tokens for a dollar is a rip off. Only other place that I know that sells 90 tokens for 20 dollars is the Family Sports Center in Colorado. All we have there is Pump PREX1 with all your favorite suicides. _________________

Final Audition Episode 1 189 bpm, has A LOT of 16th note steps, its a tossup between that and holiday for the hardest song on 1 pad for me
and if you wanna get picky, Willowisp 210 bpm, has some 16th notes too |

Willo's 16th steps are mostly triplets, making it not all that difficult. I'm confident I'd be able to do that song now if I could just find a P2 near me. Same goes for doubles, probably. Vook on the other hand might take some time... |

Anyone who lives near Ohio: All 3 of the Dave and Busters now have Premiere 3. Cincy, Columbus, and Cleveland.
I've only played about 3 songs, but I will give my full impression when I play the rest. |

Does anyone have a songlist for Perfect Collection in the arcade? I've looked around but can't seem to find one anywhere on pumpxtreme. |

Hehe. I played Premiere 3 a few days ago.
Songlist seemed kinda small. I only got to play 3 songs, and I'm not sure which were new to 3, if any. I played one I was familiar with (Beethoven Virus, duh.), one I'd heard (Winter), and one that looked cool (Will O The Wisp).
I couldn't form an opinion of it, really; I'm not a PIU player, nor did I have enough time to get a good impression of it.
It was more fun that playing our Extra, though, so I enjoyed it. |
