DDR has ruined my life!, I'm never playing it again!

So last week I go to Boomer's and I had gotten 30 free tokens (cause I'm cool like that). I decide to play DDR again for whatever reason although I haven't played in about two months. ALl my college friends happened to be around so I gave them a show in which they enjoyed (at least they told me so). Well a hour later we are leaving and I realize that me wallet was missing. I always take out whatever is in my pants whenever I play DDR, and I still had me cell phone, chap stick, and car keys. Basically and almost ripping the machine apart and the arcade as well, I have to come to the conclusion that someone must have stolen my wallet. This has sucked in more ways than once. That night we went to the Indian casino, but I couldn't bet or play cause my wallet has all my ATM cards.
Now, its not like whoever took my wallet got a good deal out of it. There was only 5 bucks in there, and I cancelled all my cards and poopy immediatly(and all have my face on them), all they could benefit from my license is my social security number and a free Boba in Riverside. Thing is, I live in La Jolla (city near San Diego) and there are no black people around here, except for me.
But I must say that the one reason I am so peeved about this incident is that last night, I went to a VIP frat party, basically they only invite girls and very few guys outside the frat. Not only did I get a invite, I got in for free (saved me 8 bucks). I get to the door, the bouncer wants a ID, I show him my UCSD ID, he won't take it! Bascially they want a ID which has my age on it. I had none, MY WALLET GOT STOLEN THE WEEK BEFORE WHILE I WAS PLAYING DDR. I look so freakin' old I look like I've already fathered 2 children! (No joke, I haven't though) Well, needless to say, I didn't get in, but I got my friends in (for free too), so they had a good time, while I swore that if I ever find out who took my wallet, I will kick thier a$$ unconditionally. The party had the flyest girls from school! 20:1 ratio, girls:guys, literally! So yeah, it just my seem like bitterness and shifting the blame, but fu*k DDR! I'm done with it. Full time B-Boy for life ya'll, L8.

I can understand your frustration. I know you don't really mean you are not going to play DDR ever again and it ruined your life. I have no problem with people venting their frustration in this mannar.

Also as person who leaves their wallet on the DDR machine, I am very concerned. What I do though is that I leave my wallet on top of the machine under the marquee. That way it is in my line of site. Also I put the wallet far in the back to make it difficult to reach for.

DDR had no effect on that except as the place where you happened to get your wallet stolen. Give DDR another chance, it loves you!

was this at boomers in el cajon or was this somewhere else? I live in el cajon and go to boomers often so im just wondering. you still cant say that DDR was the reason this happened. Stuff happens, and in reality its the person who stole your wallet who you should be focusing all of your aner toward. what you should have done was also asked the local banks to look through atm videos for anyone who used your card after you cancelled it. you might have been able to catch this guy by tracking down where he tried to use your card. either way DDR didnt do anything to you except make you have so much fun that YOU didnt realize someone took your wallet.

First, why in the heck would you leave your wallet on the machine for? I always have in my backpocket when I play cause sometimes I can't trust who's around me. Someone jacks my tokens one time when I was playing or gone and that wasn't cool.

It's also kinda funny that you blame DDR for your problems, like it ruined your life, you can go to the party, etc...Yes blame it on DDR right? Learn from your mistakes and not do it again.

Heh, i remeber that happening to my friend a few months back, he put his keys in his jacket when he played, and then when he put his jacket to take off, we get to his car to find out that they're not there. So we hit up the arcade agian, look around for about an hour, still did'nt find them, and were almost stranded for 2-3 hours.......luckly his friend was there so he was able to get a ride back, and get a spare.....but yeah i know your pain.........i was stuck w/ him for that time......

i would suggest you bring a backpack when you wanna go play DDR. that way you know everything is in it and its not likely you'll forget your backpack.
