What was your most embarassing DDR moment?

My most embarassing moment, in DDR.... Joy this is going to be something...

Um.. It had to be at Nickle City... I was playing MAX (the machine) for the first time in the arcade... I was playing remember me with new shoes(bad bad shoes)

then the shoe laces got untied n I was still playing determining myself to finish the song. I slipped on the pad at the same time stepping on my shoe laces then almost falling on my FACE!

I was luckily playing with my sister to keep the crowd there but the bad part was I got a crowd laughing at me so Yea

... I still finished the song even though I failed.

I landed on my butt once when playing Tubthumping Maniac. Finished the song, with the help of a couple of handslaps as I was getting up (thankfully it's a slow song), but my back hurt like hell--I think the pain traveled directly up my spine to cause my entire brain to go "OOOOOOOOWWWWWW." The one clerk who used to play on the machine occasionally laughed in a friendly way, so it wasn't TOO bad, but still.

I haven't done anything too bad but this is the most recent thing I can remember that actually had any merit. I went to Redondo Beach Pier (EEK! .50 cents for 1 song on a MAX2 with NO UNLOCKS) and I accidently picked Let's Groove. Needless to say, easy AA, and I get the extra stage. I expected to try my hardest to get as far as I can and I end up discovering partway through that AUTOFAIL IS OFF. So there are little 5 seconds bursts where I try to hit the steps and long stretches of time where I stand there staring at the screen dumbfounded.

...at least I hit the freeze arrows at the end...

Awhile back, I played Paranoia Rebirth for my first time ever... I haven't been able to play a lot lately because of my asthma... anyways! I'm playing, still having my asthma attack, and barely able to breathe, when, towards the end of the song, I HAVE to get off and sit down before I hurl. I REALLY felt like a loser getting off the pad like that. The good part was that I still got an A on it!

In a sense, more frustrating than embarassing... After a tournament in which I used up all my camera's battery taping the scoring part and missing the Freestyle altogether, I paid my 75 cents and ended up standing around for an hour as every one else played the machine (DDRMAX2, 4 songs for 75 cents, Joint Premium)... Finally, when it was decided it was my turn, I selected the Light version of Brilliant 2U, and tried it with my eyes closed and blindfolded, essentially... After awhile, I decided to give up on that, saw how I was doing, and started working on the song with my eyes open - and failed to improve one bit. My next two songs went just as poorly, and when the player (a pro) I was playing with selected Maxx Unlimited (I can now handle Max 300, but still not Unlimited), I simply lost it and stormed out of the arcade in a huff, kicking around a dropped arcade premium thing. Anytime you do worse than you know you can do, in the presence of players who are far superior, after waiting literally 60 minutes to do so...

The most embarassing DDR moment was when I fell off the DDR pad ( it was my 3rd time I played

DDR). A whole group of people saw It was so funny It didn't hurt at all. I never did that again.

Me and one of my friends were playing Movin' On on doubles Basic. We would take turns going on and out of the pad between the gaps. I would do the first part, he'd do the second, I do third and so on. We got a pretty big crowd and right when he was about to get off, I decide to make a nice entrance by swinging under the bar and then doing the rest. But the timing went wrong, and right when he was about to get off, I come in and he trips over me while I go falling down to the right. We obviously fail, and the whole crowd starts laughing. We were embarrased, but got a good laugh out of it too.

I watched Kel trip and fall off the Machine once while doing a double pad run... (Whish I had a camera for that one). Ok, my embarassing story: My friend and I saw this cute girl in the arcade one time while walking toward the front to grab some more tokens after playing Time Crisis II. Any way he said to me "Hey look to your left, Asian hottie". I turned my head to look at her and at the same time as looking I triped over the corner of the dance pad to the ddr machine. She saw what happened and started to laugh. As well as a few passerby. I felt so dumb. My friend was laughing his rear off and I promply kicked him in the shin. The only good thing that came out of it was I got a wink from the cute girl as she was leaving the arcade for the day.

ok one of my most embarrising moments was at a bowling alley i triped over my pants .. on doubles while freestyling to berakdown. they were like 20 ppl watching thenn every1 was laughin. i told my bro after that that was part of my routine but i was still embarresed

I was trying INSERTiON for the first time without the bar...

At the part near the end after the tempo picks up when you have to jump around, my foots slips and I fall off and bang my elbow on the pad.

I didn't get any laughs, just a "damn dude..." from a bystander.

1st one wasnt me but my friend who used to play once slipped and fell, i't was grand!! We swore to never tell anybody about it, but we kinda didn't stick to that swear

2nd one is one time I was playing and a huge group of like 5 rilly hyper ppl go on the pad next to me and each one went on one arrow and they were screaming and yelling and people were looking and AHHHHHHH!!!

Back in my beginner days I was playing in the arcade at Century 3 mall.
I was playing with a guy who was a standard/heavy player. It was my turn and I chose a song too fast for me to handle. During a jump I fell off the machine in front of the guy.

Me: You didn't see anything.
The guy: No, until you got back on the machine.

Needless to say, I got back on and finished the song.

Hmm this would be when I was playing V on Oni on double, and when I went to cross over to the right side, I flew off and hit my a*s on another game (some game where you move the handle bars, which I hit) Yeah that was really embarassing, but I couldn't stop laughing and I was out of it anyways. It was like 9 or 10 pm or something, thats why I fell in the first place..No I didn't get back up and play. Because I failed in the first place and then my a*s hurt.

One time one of my friends played Tears on Heavy; half way through the song, he lets out this huge fart. He rips it off really badly. Of course, he quickly ran away and out of the arcade.
Later that day, I'd played way too much and I had to go throw up in the Tilt!'s parking lot. Oh, I felt really embarrassed about that one..............
