Today I was practicing my Freestyle Routine for the NJ tourney and I had this huge crowd watching me. Then this guy walks up to me and says "Wow you can really dance." Then he asked me if I wanted to be a Pro Dancer? and I was like WAT?  ! Then he said that there will be auditions coming from all over the country to be a professional dancer whether it be in movies , music videos etc. Of course I don't believe that this is a true thing. I was just wondering if this has happened to anybody else. (personally I was flattered but I'm not sure that it is real.)

Hah, farthest I got was getting payed $5 to freestyle again... Not bad for an impromptu on Trip Machine...

Hey, somthing like that happened to me a couple of time.
At Gatti Land everybody in the huge arcade (Really, EVERYBODy, 50+ People), and the people that work there, where watching me play RYTHEM AND POLICE Heavy X2 Boost FS.
Everybody claped, and one of the workers gave my this thing for free games the rest of the day.
I think I got so much attention because I'm only 4 foot ten inches.

Your right, it probably isn't real unfortunatelly. But a very interesting story. |

yep, I had a lady come up and ask if i was into dancing and acting..i told her i don't really dance but I like being in plays and stuff, she then told me she was directing a play and auditions were in a week. well a week later i was at the auditions and a day after i was at callbacks..3 weeks later I was at the 1st rehearsal..damn i'm good

the most i get when i freestyle is either top 3(at tournaments) or a whole lotta hand claps(when i'm practicing my routines)

Hell Yes!!
Actually I emailed him and actually it sounds legit. Its a company that goes all over the us and they won't be coming to my area for at least 4 months and all it was, was that I get an "Automatic Reserved spot in the auditions" Much better than just tanding in line and not getting a chance to get in. So I'm pretty sure that this is legit but I'll fill ya in , in about 4 months when I go to it.
Hey freakaholic are you saying that this is a story that is purely made up??

Aside from that, I remember a guy walking up to me and saying (after I FS'ed)
"Hey bro that's good foot work." that's honestly all I can remember. He said something about being a good boxer or something. I was flattered But I already take Tae Kwon Do. So I felt like my job was done !

DDR and sex don't mix, even e-rotic songs sounded crappy... If anybody was gonna' hire a DDR player for something, it would be for a backup dancer in Japan for Glay or W-inds, or a good meat tenderizer...
But seriously, that's cool you got noticed... WE ALL NEED TO BE NOTICED! Haha, to tell you the truth, freestyling is a good excuse to kick people off your pad when they make fun of you... (Oops! Paranoia Rebirth kick in your side! "Dude, that's part of my routine, watch out...")
