Just thought, like any trading site, that it would be helpful if there would be some way to see previous transactions of some sort, to see if they generally go smoothly, or if we should spend our cash elswhere. Just a thought. |

This type of feature had been discussed and here was the general consensus:
DDR Freak is not a marketplace, we just provide a forum for people to try and sell items as a convenience. If we made the Marketplace that slick, it would likely create users who just want to sell items rather than be contributing posters. If you're worried about a seller's reputation or about fraud protection, post your item on eBay. |

Well, maybe make a sticky that contains customer's comments about the seller. Then if the seller sees that the customer is wrong, they can show proof, so people know they are a respectable seller. _________________

One sticky about each seller? That would be a huge number of stickies.
One sticky for all sellers? Then it inflates too much and people complain that it's too long and don't read it. _________________

Why not just go in there occasionally, see the seller that screwed you, and post in the thread saying "This dude screwed me, watch out."
Then the guy can make a post explaining stuff and you can work stuff out in PM's.
Or, if you're a seller, you can link to a blog or a guestbook or something in your sig, and ask people to leave feedback. _________________

All fine ideas. The only feature we (I) have written specifically for the Marketplace is giving users the ability to lock their own posts. It's going to stay that way, too.
If you want feedback, fraud protection, and slick payment methods, then create an auction on ebay and post a link to it in the Marketplace. |
