It would suck REALLY bad, since the farthest my parents will drive me to play is 20 MINS away.

But I guess I would have to only play at home, which I like better, but no one can watch you.

Oh, an arcade machine 50 miles away and got sold? Been there. There is this machine that is pretty close...5 minutes of driving...It was the USA mix...Then one day I saw a tag on it saying that it is for sale for something around 2000 dollars. Later on the machine is gone, then they bought a 7thMix instead. Just yesterday that arcade closed down for an ice center...

So...I will probably just drive further for another arcade.

I'd be happy. We still have USA mix here. And I don't mind driving 200+ miles to Salt Lake City to play Extreme. E1.gif

EDIT> ON A WEEKLY BASIS.

I would play a lot more at home (like I have been, since the local arcade got rid of the machine frust.gif ).

Then I would get a job to buy a car so as to make the occasional trip to the nearest machine.

I would still play, simply because DDR is my exercise, though I could always take up running...

It's the best arcade game I've ever laid fingers on. I took 2nd place at the first tourny i ever entered and entering a huge tourny @ Cal Poly Pomona and even got recommended to go to Nationals. You get paid beaucoup bux.

Buy two cobaltflux pads and play Stepmania on the big screen, I have a HUGE sound system so I'm good to go. That's what I would do.

In fact, I wouldn't really care period.

I would be mad, (cuz the arcade machine is a whole different experience) but I'd probly end up getting 2 metal pads and more mixes. (wait, I'm doing that anyway) laugh.gif

Well, there are a couple of possibilities.

1. I would go twice a month to go play DDR.
2. I would pick up some other game like Street Fighter or 18 Wheeler.
3. (now seriously, this is the most probable) I would grow in mass until I would have to lift up my forehead to see and the increased frustration will ally itself with past demons, assaulting my sanity and plunging myself into a deep depression with no outlet and then eventually I will shoot myself in the head.

I would be kinda pissed off, since the only place I go to is 2 minutes away from my house, and it has an extreme machine, and virtually no one plays it so I basically have it all to myself. If I still wanted to play, I'd probably get a new home pad and a new home mix.

I would most likely play more of the home version. Of course I did run into the problem of an arcade closing in St.Petersburg (Florida guys) where they had 3rd Mix. I still have a Celebration Station that is closer to my home which has USA mix and I play that sometimes just to get my fix. (When ever I can stand from my knee injury and or when Kel wants to go and play as well). Not to mention I let Kel barrow my home version for an indefinate amount of time since I have had very little time to play it, and one heck of a knee injury to contend with. Driving far distances can be a killer on gasoline for your car and money in the wallet. And I have a 96 Nissan Sentra which has some great gas mileage to it. Still it can definetly be a pain in my butt to drive a long way to play ddr. Not to mention if any one has been to Pinellas County in Florida they have come to realize that on US 19 no one knows how to freaking drive. So yeah, home version it is.
