And, well, if they were sold to someone in, let's say, Antarctica. Yes, all machines within 50 miles of you.
Well... What would you do? _________________

I would penguin-proof my house.
Seeing as there are probably no machines that are 50 miles from any people in any direction, that would mean that every DDR machine on the planet would now be located in Antarctica. I hypothesize that this would lead to the evolution of a hyper-intelligent dancing penguin that would then attempt to overthrow human civilization. _________________

50 miles, eh? Well, you just eliminated 6 machines there. Thanks.
Now I've gotta keep my car highway-worthy because the next two machines are 120 miles away. Would I drive that far for DDR? I have in the past, when they got 5th mix (and then 7th) before anyone else nearby. I'd probably go just once a month or something. So much for using DDR to lose weight!

He meant local to you, not everyone! Hyper-intelligent penguins indeed! Hold on a sec, I hear a flipper knocking on my door... |

XD XD
It's funny 'cause actually that happened. The only machine within fifty miles (only 43!!!) got sold (on January 7th or so it shipped out). So I started using my metal pad and played DDR at home a lot. Then they got a solo machine (about 42 miles away), but it's pretty ghetto so I don't play it much 'cause of the distance and lack of doubles.
The driving's just not worth it. So yeah. mh-ds is basically right. I don't even play DDR more than every other week now... Not worth the 120-mile drive to play doubles in Lubbock, even less worth the forty-something mile drive to play solo. _________________

If all DDR machines and PIU machines were sold within 50 miles I would have to move. There is no way I could live without DDR and/or PIU because there is no way I could live without exercise video games. Since I have to have DDR and/or PIU including in a game workout because DDR and PIU have the most depth, I would be forced to move to a location that had DDR and/or PIU.
If all DDR and PIU machines were in Antartica I would open my own arcade! |

Buy the Cobalt Flux metal pads, install Stepmania if you haven't yet, and hook it up and play your favorite songs at home. It's that easy. Why waste 40-50 bucks on DDR MAX USA when it doesn't have all your favorite songs on it. I'm not bashin here...but I own DDR and Konamix and the grading systems SUCK!! I wouldn't mind checkin out DDR MAX USA, but I rather have the imports.... |

I'd get straight to work on programming myself into my computer so I can e-mail myself to NorCal. More specifically, Sunnyvale, CA. _________________

Guess what that DID happen here in Little Rock Arkansas.
They took out our DDRMax2 and gave it to another Alladins Castle because stupid younger kids were causing problems.
Now the closest machine is 60 miles away and its a 3rd Mix next best thing is to drive 2 1/2 hours to Jonesboro, but at least they have 4th, Max2, and Extreme. _________________

Be mad cause I can't play at home cause my neighbors below me complain. I guess I would just have to get my big fill of DDR in whenever I go to visit people... And I would probably make a hour drive or so every once in a while to play too. Hour there and back wouldn't be THAT bad. The closest extreme machine to me is that far away. |

Then I'd play IIDX. Or get a CF pad. Or just stop playing. _________________
