each one is only like 30 or so pages. So off of that I'm saying I finished it. I could be wrong though.

actually First Stage is not quite over yet... it's looking like maybe 36-40 pages now. The script and the drawings keep evolving so it'll never be locked, but as soon as the First Stage is done the cover for the Second Stage will be posted. But I guess nisori just meant that he read the update, which is still cool...

Humanoid_Typhoon-- I'm glad you mentioned shorter updates! I guess it's easier for me to do that way and if people mind the story getting chopped up like that, then they can wait till the end of the month and read the whole chapter at one time, Jump Comic style...

and thanks ]\[1SØ|21, I like the color better now too... The first section in the arcade is all gray and dirty looking, but later I think I like the lighting better... more like a dark place but still inside a bright mall. In the next update, they'll actually step OUT of the arcade for a bit too! bright light!

Ichijyouji-- awesome, ha ha! but if you're in charge of finding those mp3s then YOU have to make up a FS routine... but then I'd have to animate it! yikes! good thing anime freestyle won't be till way later

Well, gimmee some time, and I probably COULD make up an FS routine and video tape it for ya to draw! Although... you may have to make changes since I've never done an FS routine, and it'd probably look absolutely horrible!

humanoid, heh heh, any name is fine by me... a theme song for tenkay? that's an awesome question-- if I had to pick a song for the opening right now, it'd be "Start the Commotion" by The Wiseguys... (get up, get up-- put your body in motion..) Do you know that one? It was used for a Mazda commercial last year, but it still goes well for now. Maybe I'd remix it with some Fatboy Slim or Naoki/DJ Taka to give it more DDR sound though. Someone suggested that the ending theme be "Cartoon Heroes" (the speedy version-- what we do is what you wish to do) for obvious reasons

... I like that song to end each episode BUT we went to a tournament near here and that was one of the qualifying songs, so some other people are already tired of hearing it!

I have a friend who can help me make Flash animations for an opening/closing with my characters, but by the time we get to that there might be better songs to use though, who knows...

Very Very good artwork. I'm very impressed. From a fellow artist I congradulate you on your awesome work. lol

Only things I saw wrong was with the song choices. Spin the Disc? Matsuri Japan? These songs are not on the Arcade version on DDRMAX. They ARE on the home US version. Other than that though I didn't see any other flaws in anything.

Now as for Robotcop and Dingo Koola, don't listen to them much. All of us in the South Forum have had to deal with their antics for the last year. They really don't have anything of utmost importance to say, so its just best to ignore them. Especially on the speaking Japanese thing. Everyone here in America just asumes that if you are in America you speak English and English only. But this country is a multicultural country and not everyone speaks only English. Only thing I can advise you to do is if you are going to have some of the characters speak Japanese, find a way for all of the non Japanese speaking people to understand what is being said if it is important to the story line.

EX.
Girl 1: Brian and I are going to the movies tomorrow wanna come?
Girl 2: I don't know my parents want me to goto piano lessons with Ms. Crystal.
*Girl 3 walks from the distance*
Girl 2: Oh great here comes (insert name here).
Girl 3: Hi Guys, whats up? Isn't today great?
Girl 1: (says something in another language)
Girl 3: Huh?
Girl 1: Oh nothing.
*Girl 1 and 2 giggle in laughter*

With this anyone who cannot speak the language that Girl 1 spoke is totally in the dark on what was said. Rather than just leaving it that way you could do this:

Girl 3: Hi Guys, whats up? Isn't today great?
Girl 1: (says something in another language)^
Girl 3: Huh?
Girl 1: Oh nothing.

(at the bottom of the page)
^ Yeah it would be great if you weren't here.

This way the storyline is still understandable to those that do not speak the language she spoke in. Because for those that cannot speak or understand that language they would not have know until maybe later that Girl 1 and 2, do not like Girl 3. This is usually done in alot of Marvel and DC comics and is usually done with a cross or astrix instead of ^.

Other than that I don't see anything else in my opinion that could be changed. Its a great comic and I am looking forward to seeing its outcome.

PS: Nice job on Max300 on your homepad, I can't even beat it on my homepad, though mine suck, lol. Oh yeah your cute too,

yahoo!! I'm sooo excited to have finished the first chapter of 10K! ^___^!!

I tried to consider all the advice everyone gave me and I'm happy with the results so far, so thanks everybody! especially the people who gave me constructive comments-- by all means check it--

First Stage: The Psyclone Hits is now complete!

I'm gonna be out of town so there won't be an update next weekend, but once I get back I'll post the start of Chapter 2. I'll be very glad to stop itroducing people and actually get some character development going on! Second Stage is tenatively titled: David & the Away Team...

Yaay! Thanks, guys ^__^! I'm so glad I found some people who like to read it! It inspires me to keep drawing them.

mr ziggy-- they started out "based on" real life people, but the more I write and draw, the less they are like people I know. I can shape them and make them do whatever I want now... mwa ha ha...

btw, some people said that chapter 1 was getting hard to read so I'm wondering about the handwriting stuff (that's not in the balloons)-- I like how that looks sometimes but if it's hard to read, maybe I should change it?

I can read it fine here on my screen but maybe on some monitors it's too blurry or too small... anyone notice?
