You know, like nonstop/oni, only the songs actually blend into eachother! I think that would be aweosme! AAHHH!!! GUYS I AM TALKING ABOUT A NORMAL NONSTOP COURSE BLENDED TOGETHER, NOT THE NONSTOP MEGAMIX MADE INTO A NONSTOP COURSE DARNIT!!!

Habble over at DDRManiaX is actually making a DWI for the Extreme nonstop Megamix, clocking in at about 40 minutes long. I for one actually want to play it. E4.gif

Actually, I have collected most of the DDR soundtracks from RedOctane... (some Ever Anime, some... some other publisher, all of them crediting Dancemania but without the Konami logo) and all of them have two disks: one of all the new songs in the version (well, most), and one with a Nonstop Megamix, mixing together most of the songs into one long sequence, including announcer comments. Some of the earlier ones aren't as well transitioned, but it is a fairly cool concept...

I, for one, would literally die if I had to play Dance Dance Revolution for over 70 minutes straight nonstop... not that I could actually get that far.

A friend and I were discussing this sort of thing today. We both agreed no-one could manage an hour-long Oni, although a Nonstop course would be fun. Especially if it had four "songs" - ie, four Dancemania nonstop courses.

Evil, but fun.

Ah, I see what you mean... I admit I'm not sure how the tracks would crossfade or transition, unless there was an alternate mix made for these mixes.

It would suck for the people who aren't playing. Imagine waiting in line when the person ahead of you can pass a 40 minute nonstop.Ugh.

Charmyfan[now DJJ Cfan], I profusely apologize for confusing the topic. Please clear up a few things for us: number one, is there a maximum length that these tracks would be (like the current arcade Oni or Nonstop playlists); number two, would there be points during the transitions where, without stopping the music, your energy would refill as it does now, or would you have to handle the entire mix with only four misses (in Oni only, of course); and number three, what else would be different about this besides the custom transitioning tracks? (dr hwguy did correctly point out the Solo 2000 transitioning nonstop tracks of three songs; I presume you mean a mix of four or five tracks, but I'd like to have more information.)

According to my soundtrack listing, the Solo 2000 Megamix tracks are:

- Get Up 'N' Move/Samba de Janiero/Don't Clock Me
- That's The Way/Get Off/Together & Forever
- Club Tropicana/Kung-Fu Fighting (Miami Booty Mix)/Freaky
- I'm Alive/My Baby Mama/Love Machine
- Brilliant 2U/SP-Trip Machine (Jungle Mix)/Paranoia Evolution
- Let the beat hit em!/Super Star/Hysteria
- Dynamite Rave/Celebrate Nite/Can't Stop Fallin' In Love
- think ya better D/Trip Machine (luv mix)/Love This Feelin'
- Afronova/Wild Rush/Drop Out

Interesting, but besides the Brilliant 2U/SP Trip Machine/P.Evolution track, I don't see as much of a theme or coherence as the current Oni or Nonstop tracks have. For instance, for Solo, my choice would be, say:

- Together And Forever/Drill Instructor/Dream A Dream (Miami Booty Mix)

No, I'm not a big Captain Jack fan (although I do like their title track and My Generation), but this listing at least has a good coherence, at least in that it's all the same artist, like the BeForU courses in DDRMAX2. (Of course, Dynamite Rave/Celebrate Nite/Can't Stop... is all the same artist as well, come to think of it.)

will someone PLEASE, read my original post... I AM ONLY TALKING AOBUT 4-6 SONGS BLENDING INTO EACHOTHER, NOT THE WHOLE NONSTOP MEGAMIX!!! GET IT RIGHT PEOPLES!!! AAAHHH!!!! Oh, and of course, it would have exclusive remixes that would NEVER be in the normal game, and in oni, every time you reached a new song your bar would go up. SO example:

Happy Megamix
Be Lovin(heavy)(god i love this song)
(transition)
Love Love Shine(another)(heavy)
(transition)
Absolute(for megamix mode)(heavy)
(transition)
Love Love Sugar(another)(heavy)
(transition)
Candy*(sweet remix)(ONI)

So if you got 3 boos in be lovin, when you got to Love Love Shine your bar would increase by 3, cause be lovin was a 9-footer. Its just like oni, without the small no arrow section! happy.gif
