Someone, long before MAX2 and 7th Mix was out for PS2, kept claiming they already both versions. I tried proving them wrong just about 8-9 days before the release, it didn't work.

A friend and I played that game and after being pretty much dead two pseudo cool ghetto kids who watched us decided to give it a try (the kind of pseudo cool ghetto kid, you know like, word up yo, know what I mean mah man?). They just stood there and didn't understand a bit. So after failing the first round they put in another coin and we tried to explain them how it works, even danced along next to the machine to show them how to step where and when.

After the fifth round (that they failed as well although we were doing our best to explain them how it works) one of them said: "I don't get it. Can I dance like I want? And what's with the frick arrows?"

They then decided to go and my friend and me wanted to dance again. One of them said "no wait a second, I wanna see how they do it" and the other one said "no come on, they're freaks anyhow"

Asking how to play is in no way a dumb question. It seams very common for people to be unsure of exactly how it works. DDR is very intimidating to newbies so cut them some slack.

The second dumbest is when I got MaxX Unlimited extra stage a long time ago, some punk goes, "Oooo, MaxX, he's gonna FAIL!!! HAHAHAhaha HA ha ha!" like a loser. X_x Of course, I failed... but I don't anymore!

They probably didn't look at the machine's screen before, so seeing two/one person(people) hopping around on a machine, what is your first reaction?
I wonder how you play this.

So if you say that's a stupid comment, cut them some slack.

My brother has a tendency for saying everything is so easy when it looks easy.

It's probably confusing for them. There's only three buttons, no joystick, and the only combos in the game are somehow accomplished with your feet.

Also, the dumbest comment someone said to me about DDR was said one day while I was visiting my cousins' house. I was playing Healing Vision (Angelic) and one of their friends comes in and loudly announces, " This game is sooo gay. How can you play this?" Meh! I hate people who ask that....but that matter has been talked about to death so...
