The web comic PVP features DDR in today's strip (5/6/03) as a finale to its current storyline.

* DDRMAX was featured in a Nickelodeon Magazine, in some sort of game cheat section. It shown how to beat, what they call, the "1/4th beat cluster".
* DDR Disney Mix was featured in a Disney Adventures. They even had a fill in the blank question about it: What is Donald Duck's favorite song? Answer: You guessed it, Macho Duck.

Mr. Chaser said;

My God can't believe you people haven't seen DDR on that Sketchers commercial ....when this guy is Dancing and when they zoom out he is playing a DDR machine...and the commercial reads "Find your own Groove" I was soo happy that DDR is getting to be so popular like that.....so....I saw DDR on a Sketchers commercial!

I reply;

Ya, I know, that was filmed at my arcade. That kid sucks though, he says he's good, he blows.

Entertainment Weekly and G4 made a show on the 100 greatest games of all time article. As you know DDR was 40, so on the show, they showed some good footage, but no freestylers, only tech players frown.gif. I wanted to see some freestyle action, but no!

I think they didn't show anything Max or ^

Which I then take it that you must be awesome because you OWN that arcade thus have unlimited playing time?

(reference to the term "my")

If I'm correct isn't that the same artist who does "The Reflex", I think it's Duran Duran! I'm not sure. E19.gif

I was about to post that. She played Abyss and failed, but it didn't sound like Abyss.... Afterward, one of the gay guys (meant literally) jumped up and started dancing....well....gaily....and wasn't looking at the screen or really hitting the arrows. It pissed me off 'coz it made it seem like DDR looks that ridiculous when it's being played and that only the gay are good at it.

Yeah, that's pretty bad.... The only thing worse is the original mix of Rhythm and Police (play Dance Maniax, you'll see)
