Is the Tenkay Commotion an actual tournament or are rules and everything just made up? _________________

Marvelous manga! Surprisingly, although I'm only beginning Japanese, I could understand it! Keep it up!
Oh, and one more thing... I know you probably get asked this alot, and I haven an idea on what the answer is, but I just wanted to ask anyway, and... er... Can I be in it?

DJ_Dustbuster, I always appreciate the feedback though-- I'm sure that pic will come soon too, na...
Gote/\) of AIM-- the real answers are here--> 10K Commotion FAQ but in short, the whole thing is made up. There's no real 10K Commotion Tournament. and most of the characters are already written but I guess I've drawn some other people into some scenes even if they weren't in the script... who knows
and Razma-- that's very cool that you understood them! I was worried that too many people at this board were against japanese language (heh heh... j/k, I know it's only a few people) you'll see as they talk more than Dyna speaks standard japanese, but Chaser and Breakdown both use a little Kansai-ben (a really casual west japanese dialect-- some people think it sounds rude, but i like it)... they're from Sanomiya, Kobe, where I used to live... but it's not really strong so I'm sure you'll still be able to understanding them.
Ichijyouji-- ha ha, awesome! me too, whenever I don't worry about counting Greats then I do really well. way to rock the AAA! can't wait to see your prom pics, but I guess the DJ is a busy guy, ha ha! btw, I'm glad you still like it-- lots of people say my drawings and stuff suck, so I'm always glad to get nice comments... I wouldn't say it's "popular"-- maybe I'm breaking about even now dakara ganbarimasuuuu~!
thanks everybody for letting me know what you think-- yoroshiku! _________________

Heh. I'd love Team Odoru Baka to make a cameo, but they were probably 2nd last in the qualifiers that got Team Psyclone through to the tourney
And I like the End-of-Update marker - very cute, and useful to boot! _________________

Characters aren't being introduced very well. Many look the same and most of the time someone just pops in out of nowhere and begins talking. _________________

Hmmmmm as of yet I still have no word for BPA...but I did make a request. Still have yet to get an answer. I'll let you know what's up. Ok?
Also, keep up the good art work. You're doing great with it. Please keep it up. Keep us posted. I'm as interested as these others are.
I also came up with a silly idea regarding a small portion of your artwork and maybe a genuine idea. (Unless you've already come up with it.) hehe anyway take care of yoruself Makoto. See you @ Long Beach Stop #4! Hope you can make it!
This Hawaiian boy's outta here. (Off to school that is) Oyasumi nasai!

Conman-- Is Team Odoru Baka from Australia? that could be a nice touch, but I'd need help if they spoke with a dialect-- one of my roommates is australian (and the other NZ-er) but sometimes it's hard for me to understand what they say it's great though... and I'm glad the "end of update" page works... I was worried it was just a cop out since I couldn't find a way to make that gallery javascript stop at the last page... (I'm just not that l33t yet)
Tsunami Goten, Dojomaster26, Akirage-- I'm really happy you want to see more actually I have a question too: this summer I'll have time and after this one, I want to put up a whole chapter at a time so things aren't so choppy, you know? there'd be longer breaks in between, but I think the story will make more sense then and not so many people will jump to bad conclusions after only reading a few pages... is that a better idea maybe?
Rowboatcop-- in every arcade in the US that I've been to people always "just pop in and begin talking". it might be a couple days before I know their names, but they're friendly anyway... that's something I like about people here (are you talking about a jikoshoukai? like in japan, it's rude to talk to someone you don't know without a proper introduction... is it like that where you come from?)
Violet-- well, I guess it is up to Pimp Willy whether he wants to put up with our crew again definitely let me know... and PM me if you get a chance about your silly/maybe genuine idea, I'd love to hear it-- bai bai, hawaiian boy, ki wo tsukete ne! _________________

None of us who ask for cameos will probably get them but liek everyone else i shall ask anyway
Can I have a cameo?
Maybe all of us who ask to be in it could together in it be one of the teams or something _________________

First, I really like this comic. It's great, but
Isn't 10 grand a bit big for a DDR tourney? Jeez, I'd like to join that if it existed.

It kinda looks like makoto has been basing the machine's song list off of Max USA. Japan, Spin the Disk, My Summer Love, Etc. are all on Max USA.
Which hasn't been released in arcade form. Still, it's a fictional story, it can have a fictional machine if it wants to. |

yes, it was said before and it's true-- all of the songs they play are on Max2, not Max-- but I haven't had time go back and change the drawings yet... (in the first script they played 6th Mix) I'll revise the extra and encore stages to MaxxUnlimited and Kakumei but for now I just put up what I've done.
as far as teams & characters go there's a lot more I haven't decided on yet so who knows
and $10,000 IS too much for a DDR Tournament. That's why it's fun to draw-- since I doubt there's a chance I'll ever actually SEE this kind of thing happen
but 9feet-- ha ha, am I'm supposed to be psychic? all I know so far is that you wore all black... PM me _________________
