I didn't see this anywhere, but i might be blind, but can you put the the unlock codes onto any machine(like an 8th mix upgraded from 3rd mix) because a worker at my local arcade said it must be an actual 8th mix machine or upgraded from 6th or 7th to input the codes. Is this true?!?!? |

No that's not true--you can put the codes in any Extreme machine. _________________

Yeah, that changes the sort mode.
Normal
By Game (DDR 1st - Extreme, Beatmania - BMIII, GF&DM, etc)
Alphabetical
By BPM
Players Choice (most played songs)
A lot of songs aren't available on normal sort (only new songs) or Players Choice (only top 30 or something) but other sort modes show all songs on DDREx. _________________

hey ya never know...
Maybe they have another unlock to #31 or something . Just like the "31st" unlock in Max2. Konami's always got something to keep people thinking about. But then again, since the DVD was ripped already maybe there isn't anything else. Unless of course there's a way to unlock the modes from trick (brake, fuwa-fuwa, and .25 speed). I would love to see someone try Bag on .25x . Or maybe some oni steps to some more songs . |

I don't think the mods are gonna get unlocked... and the stepcharts were also all ripped from the game disc, so what else could there be? _________________

If the stepcharts were ripped from the game disc. Then should we talk about Dam Dariram again? _________________

They were. Where do you think he got the DWI you probably have of PSM oni before it was probably even beaten yet (it had *JUST* been unlocked). _________________

Plus, Dam Dariram's "new" steps fit the song well after I adjusted the syncing on the dwi, so perhaps it was taken out of the final version at last minute... |

So, the new code that was recently released. We want to know if it does anything different. Anyone going to attempt to put this in and see what it does? _________________

First off... im gonna guess there's a space at the end of that, because theres only 6 letters in the second part of it.
My sources were SEMI-official on the code I got (a Japanese arcade owner posted the code on 2ch).
IDK though... im confused. _________________

Why would there be two codes that do the same thing? Are there ANY differences between the last codes, and if not, is it possible that there are other codes that might be in the game that could unlock the new mods? I know its wishful thinking but if the codes are multiple, there might be unlock 31. |

Maybe the last unlock has several codes. Perhaps this was a way of revealing who leaked it?
The other answer could be that the code is run through an algorithm and the codes just happen to have the same MOD. _________________

I put the code in our machine and all it seems to do is on the unlock list in the demo, the last few numbers dont flash with the little star on top of them anymore. No new courses, songs or mods. |
