If little kids are really that much of a problem just do what I do. First, you must always have long nails and a sledgehammer with you at all times. If a little kid runs across the pad, catch him and violently nail him to the pad. Then, proceed to bar rape Max 300 and stomp the little kid to death. If you don't want to go through all that trouble, just bash the little kids head in with the sledgehammer you carry around with you. My DDR hell would involve kids running around the machine, and me not having my sledgehammer. I cringe just thinking about it *cringe*

I was actually discussing this the other day with some friends.
The machine would be blaring loud, but also the arcade would be blasting their shitty music at the same time. The only songs available on this satanic version of DDR are End of the Century, The Whistle Song, Witch Doctor, Daikenkai and Waka Laka, but there is one good song like Dr. Love or something that no one picks. The people who I hate a lot (some locals, Avril Lavigne, etc) playing and aren't wearing any deodorant/cologne, so they smell like ass. They keep picking the terrible songs, and I'm chained just outta reach of the machine to change it to the good songs. God I hope that never happens, even though some of the things already do.

Being a relative newb, having to share the machine with a seven-year-old and do continuous repeats of 'It's Raining Men' (I wondered why it was the top pick on that machine -- now I know why)... and then suddenly...

*camera pans to Doomed desperately trying to do Max for the very first time, and also in the shot is the kid gleefully stomping on random arrows because he saw how fast it was and gave up about two and a half seconds in; Doomed lasts perhaps 40sec before failing*

Well, that was hell for that day at least. Being forced to endure Raining Men for hours, and getting hit with Max somewhere in the middle of it. At least we came to an agreement: a) Raining Men only once per game, and b) 'Never, EVER hit the green button when the selector says Max. Dig?'

This is my little own hell:

No bra + songs with lots of jumps. The pain, oh the pain.

Little kids. Any and all. I don't even take mine with me. They go to daycamp while I go play Bemani. ( Besides they have their own soft pads at home) Little kids run on the pads... lean on the bar while your playing. Drop their candy on the arrows.

Shadowers. The ones that stand next to you 6 inches away. Gawdammit get out of my peripheral vision.

Teenage prom queen sugar high bimbos. The play vs with you with 2 to 4 of them on the next pad.

Dumb jock. Randomly runs across the pad and won't get off while your in the midst of gameplay.... doubles even (this resulted in me failing and chasing the jerk out the mall) Also have been know to throw food at ppl playing. Even throwing gum on the pads.

Having to hear Butterfly, Kick the Can, Dynamite Rave, & Bumble Bee over and over again by the same two ppl all day.

The n00b that play Abyss for all 3 to 4 songs cause they don't believe you that can change the song selection.

A machine with only Have You Ever Been Mellow and crappy arrows that don't work.

My personal ddr hell, sure.. id have ddr extreme.. but the board would make the songs freeze!!! that happened to me when i was playing kakumi maniac, ...i still failed the song ;.;

Well, the nearest arcade to me with DDR8th is kinda far away, and I can't drive, so my mom drives me. I'm only aloud to go once a month because my mom doesn't feel like paying for gas money. Well, I'd die if the machine was out of order when I get there, and I decide to run back outside to catch my mom and get a ride back, but instead I'd see her driving away into the unreachable distance. Each trip lasts four whole hours...

Having DDR Konamix, but being forced to CCR it because your pad is on the fritz.
The nearest arcades are 2 hours away, and loaded with children that love to fuck with your mind and get on the pad at inane times.
Forget going to any GOOD places, like any of the Golflands. You have to deal with Funworks and Gay-a-lot Park.
Ride home? Forget it. You have to hoof it 2 hours back, too.

Oh yeah, and no BART, no VTA, no good stuff.

Going to the nearest location of ddr to you and easily beat all of the songs on the machine just to see a pair of koreans enter in an expert cheat that isnt on this website or any other and when you ask them what the code is they cant speak english...
