What would your personal DDR Hell? Mine would be that I would be locked in a room with a machine that has horrible Freestylers trying Lets Groove, Dynamite Rave and Love to me routines. It would also consist of people literally hugging to the bar for songs like Butterfly Light and annoying people who play songs like Dynamite Rave, Let the Move, Kick the Can, Freckles and End of the Century over and over and over again at max volume. It would also have shadowers who don't bathe, little kids running on the pad, people who put 8 freaking coins at one time on the line, blocking my view and this annoying bastard in my Honors english class who has stupid looking hair, a stupid looking face and who hates DDR whom will be heckling me over and over again (he is too stupid for the honors class btw ). |

my DDR hell has already happened to me...(if u've seen me post this b4, bear w/ me)
I was in florida, in a massive arcade (can't think of the name: 3 or 4 stories) we got there at about 9:30 or 10 at night, and we had to be at the airport at about 5 the next morning, and none of us had packed, so we couldn't stay long. i immediately go searchine for a ddr machine. the only one they have their is a trial machine, w/ literally 5 or 6 songs on it. i still wanna play, but this 20 year old guy gets on the machine. he selects paranoia, and obviously doesn't know what he is doing...on that machine you can't fail, so he hits the first few arrows, and stands there....and stands there. for. the. whole. frickin. song. then he selects another songs. and does the exact same thing (btw, you have to pay a fee to get into the arcade, so all the games are free). then by random, he selects a 1 or 2 footer, and barely passes. then, to top it all off, his MOM (yes, his mom, w/ him at the arcade) leans over to me, and goes, "wow, i'm so proud of him, people like us could never do something like that." erm...speak for yourself lady...really. then to make things worse, just when i was gonna get on, to sorta snub them, and show off, we had to go back to the hotel....grrr. that is ddr hell. really. _________________

or when your arcade FINALLY upgrades to DDRExtreme....but for some ungodly reason, the owner switches the machine from 3credits for 3songs, to 1 credit for 1 song.......which means no onis, no nonstops, no highscores, and going back to the title and option screens between songs is SO annoying
and yes this is REALLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME
i mean....i know the onis are there..so close..yet so fucking far away _________________

2 Bucks to play Double, sheesh it's cost a buck to play EX but 2 bucks is just stretching it! I don't play it very often. I wish it was on Joint Premium. |

1. Beating Legend Road backwards with all Marvelous.
2. About to take a picture but camera batteries die.
3. Take out pen to write down score and then pen runs out of ink.
4. Memorizes whole number and then someone tells you a bigger number ending with you forgetting both of the long combos.
5. The machine turns off before having any witnesses. _________________

DDR HELL! Um,
1. failing on last step
2. having to pull little kids off when they jump on the pad, even if its not your turn, you just do it because its nice and then the parents go to the owner (sportsworlds manager defends me because he gets big bucks on that DDR Machine)
3. Playing Sakura Heavy first time after other songs that are difficult and realizing you have no water.
More is coming. _________________
