So I picked up Best Hits on saturday, and I am quite impressed! I enjoy it a lot more than Pop'n 7. I have a question, though. I remember seeing a Trance EX video online, but on Best Hits, there is no EX. Did they take it out?
EDIT: I LOVE THIS MIX. I am so picking up 6 this week. Trance, Rap, Visual 2, Power Folk 2 and Anime Heroine are my current favorites. Electro is the shit. =D
Oh yeah, and I full comboed Trance Hyper with 100,000. Replay for serious. |

Then, not to contradict what you said, what the hell is this video? O_o;;
It has Tran, it SOUNDS like Trance, and the notes are not hyper, 9 line OR 5 line... weird. Ver2 burned it onto a disc for me a while back. It's called "trance_2.mpg" |

Mind you that COULD just be the name of the video. Such as "Hey, I have two videos of the song "trance" so lets just name this one... Trance 2!" =p I was thinking that kind of thing. It has the 6th mix layout as well.
And how come after Cyber wins a song in Pop'n 7, he starts humping some guy? |

|
|
I recently bought Pop'n 1-4 for Dreamcast. (yay! I love Japanese game packaging! It's wonderful! I think I'm an addict...) 1 and 2 work perfectly well with the boot disc that I'm using. However, whenever I go to switch to 3 or 4 (which are appends), I get an error. I'm assuming that the game makes another check to see whether the disc is able to be run on the hardware and that's why it doesn't run. The error message is something like "the disk is not ____" (where ____ is some verb I don't know).
So, the question is: Is there a hack for this? I know there are action replay codes to let DDR games play on hacked psx's, so is there a code for pop'n 3 and 4? Or am I just going to have to mod my Dreamcast? |

Hi PnM fans!! I just started playing PnM for about a week now I have PnM 6 and 7 is on the way. I have the controller which was hard as hell for me to find. But I would like to know if anybody knows an import site were I can get an ASC controller. It would be alot easier with that than the smaller verison. _________________

Okay there is something SERIOUSLY up with Spanish hyper. I cannot time that thing for the LIFE OF ME. I am actually starting to think *of course, correct me if I'm wrong* that since it is an older song from an older mix, that they somehow didn't sync up the timing right or something. Seriously. My timing can't be as bad as getting 87 goods on a normal song.
Try it for yourself. It hurts. =/ |

|

I think I'm finally going to get into Pop'n Music. I played it once with the small konami controller and will probably end up buying one of those. The way I see it, what are the chances of me ever seeing Pop'N Music in the arcade?
Anyway, which version of Pop'N Music should I start out with? I've heard good things about 6 and Best Hits. I'm most interested in number of songs and different game play modes. Any suggestions? _________________

Get 7 or 6 then. 6 and 7 each have over 100 songs. I forgot about play modes for the two. |

7 has versus (two styles!) 6 doesn't.
That's about it. They're equal beyond that. (Not counting song tastes.) |

Thanks for the suggestions. Does 7 have better graphics/framerate since it runs on PS2? _________________
