I dunno if someone already posted this and I really don't wanna read through all 22 pages of this right now but I saw DDR on MTV on True Life: I'm a Gamer. It was pretty interesting. They followed around to groups of people and then one other guy that was entering a tourney for some online game that he had won the world title for twice before....but I digress. Anyways, there was a group of guys that lived in an apartment and played games all day and night and it showed like a 5 second clip of them playing DDR and it made me all excited.

It was "Beijing Bicycle" and it's a very cool movie, I think it was twards the beginning of the movie that the main character and his friends were playing a couple of DDR machines.

Edit: sorry, I just noticed someone mentioned it already. I will take this opportunity to point out that Penny Arcade has mentioned it a couple of times:

My little brother said that he saw a DDR machine in the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, but he said that they really messed it up. Anyone know about this?

Kinda. I saw it since I was bored and had nothing to do... but anyway...
It's kind of a clone of the 5th mix engine with a dancing character (a generic person) some modifed graphics and the Nickelodeon blimp as the arrows.

It was... *shudders*

Actually I think it was 4th mix. 5th mix has the squiggly bar, and 4th mix has the straight bar.

I saw ddr on Lizzie McGuire. Lizzie and her brother were hand cuffed together at a mini golf joint. You couldnt see the front of the machine, but the arrows on the pad were covered by what looked like blue and orange construction paper. Why was I watching Lizzie McGuire you ask........ couple.gif .

Yeah I saw too... Jack was freestyling to Holiday. It was cute. Gay man and Madonna music. How befitting.

That was a pretty sad display of DDRing. I mean, she was in the middle of the pads! The Jack part was kinda funny though.

when Jack was, um, "freestyling", the yellow and green selection buttons were flashing like crazy. Huh?? E19.gif

heaven forbid a TV show ever show an accurate portrayal of DDR. blink.gif

hahaha, but that marquee was ghetto too! It sure wasn't the same one I saw in the arcade

what was the game between Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and Mars Matrix? the marquee sorta looked like Prehistoric Isle II, but now I'm not so sure

Haha, Silent Hill. Try again.

I'm pretty sure most people know by now that there are licensed songs in DDR.
