Generally this thread is for places you wouldn't normally see DDR, as in on TV, or hearing a song on the radio.
Going to play DDR in Orlando isn't quite what people are looking for here. _________________

my friend called me yesterday night and told me that Yu-Gi-Og was showing DDR. I flipped to it and found a cheap immitation of DDR with a black guy named "Johnny Jump Up" dancing around on the most mutated DDR machine I've ever seen. It portrayed him as an egomaniac with no real friends and a bad hair-do. Unforgivable. _________________

I WILL see DDR in my year book and school newspaper!
We had a carnival, and our JCC brought a PS2 with MAX and two very well modded home pads... We were slaying catas for like an 2 hours and a friend of ours, who works in the newspaper and I think year book too, too a lot of pictures! "The DDR Freaks" will be caption
Can't wait!
PS: JCC, not Jewish Community Center; rather, Japanese Culture Club.[/u][/i] _________________

I posted a tread ealier saying that one of the finalist for "All American Girl" plays DDR her name is Ashely. At the end of teh show when they were recaping the 10 finalist she was shown playing DDR. I think she was playing it on Disney's Grand California Hotel. Thats pretty scary that I could recognize were she was playing. I need to get a life AHH!!! lol _________________

Hmm... I was looking through my yearbook from last year, and the last few pages sum up life in the year 2001 and 2002. In the bottom corner of the page is a picture of kids playing on DDR with the caption that says: In the new arcade game Dance Dance Revolution, players watch a dance pattern onscreen and duplicate the moves on the corresponding dance floor. I guess that'll be something cool to look back on in the future. |

This may have been commented on before, but I'm too lazy to go back through posts and will say it anyway.
On Tech TV, I recently saw DDR twice;
The first was on "Extended Play", and Sessler was sitting on a DDR USA machine. "The only way you could have a music game was Parappa the Rapper or... well, flailing around on one of these things."
The second instance was on "Call for Help", on an article about staying fit with technology. A woman came on with something that looked like the DDR 4th Interface (Dunno, could be Konamix) and played .59 on Basic.
The worst part? On platform, high-heel shoes, on a Konami/Topway soft pad, returning to the middle on every step. _________________
