I saw it on the show "Even Stevens" on Disney channel. It was the original 1st mix!!! You see the machine like three times in a row!

OK, so I am watching this lame A$$ reality show called "All American Girl" last night on FOX (don't ask why... guess I was too lazy to bother changing the channel after "American Idol"...)

...and halfway thru the show, where the contestants were shown "working out" before their big athletic challenge, one of the girls is shown screwing around on a DDR machine, complaining about how she can't dance and how she needs to learn. Well, sister, you ain't gonna learn *that* way... the machine wasn't even ON!! You were just jumping around on the arrows... silly. I could have probably kicked her butt, and I suck. laugh.gif

Oh well- its always cool to see DDR on TV, no matter what the context. IMO, the DDR machine was certainly the high point of the show. (It was a 5th mix...) The rest was a total waste of an hour-and-fifty minutes of my life.

G_d, I am *so* sick of reality TV... goog.gif

DDR would have been a cool replacement for that retarded Golden Tee guy. the supposed "world champion" who got his ass kicked nearly every game E15.gif

for a crappy mtv show though, it wasnt THAT bad. the fatal1ty bits, and apartment guys were entertaining.

now that i think about it, a music video called "Picture Perfect" by angela via (i think?) had a whole bunch of ddr machines in it, with people breakdancing and stuff on it. I haven't seen it in about a year, but i remember chucklling at the fact that she was stepping back and forth on the machine while singing, and "WARNING" was flashing in the background. don't even know if that video was even very popular, just saw it playing on the TVs walking through a RadioShack one day, heh

Haha, I dunno if this counts, but this thread has gotten goofy in many places anyway...

I had a dream last night that I was watching something on TV and caught a glimpse of a DDR machine on it, and immediately thought to myself, "ohh I finally get to post to that one thread on ddrfreak." So there you have it. I saw DDR in my dreams.

When my old highschool put on a cyberpunk version of A Midsummer Night's Dream, I provided a lot of DDR and IIDX music. Now everyone who saw it thinks of DXY! as "Oberon's Theme Song."

OMG I SAW DDR ON TV!!!!!!!!11111

On the show Mostly True Stories: Urban legends on TLC they were talking about the murder of a girl in plane sight on a campus. They were discussing odd ways of releasing stress and they showed a guy playing on a 7th mix machine. It was real obvious cuz it had an official banner. They didnt a disntance shot of him then zoomed in on his feet. It lasted about 30 seconds.
