I like POD. That genre of music seemed to do well in the other Frequency. Powerman 5000's song is one of my favorites, even though I don't listen to them. _________________

Yeah, wait until you try the Blink 182 song...it's 190+ bpm and hard as hell. It pretty much owned most of the team here for a few weeks. Also, now you can change the BPM in remix mode, so you can make a remix of this track at over 220 BPM.
I think you guys will dig it when it's out this month. The Run DMC track rules.

Another update:
Just got word from freq.com through Cinder's info and poor game of "Guess who's also in Amplitude?" that Slipknot is in.
The Papa Roach song is M-80 (Explosive Energy Movement).
If you want info on which Pink song is in Amplitude, that's if you care, check the March 14th issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Lastly, X-Ecutioners are in, of sorts, remixing RUN DMC's King of Rock.
2 more weeks! 2 more weeks! _________________

Yeah, both the Papa Roach and Slipknot trax are extremely fun to play.
I've been waiting to work with Run DMC my whole life, and I'm so psyched we got them for Amplitude. See you in Amplitude Online!

You Know when i was 1st into BM98, i kept telling Konami, bring Beatmania Over to the states, and they never Answered my emails. But then i heard That Frequency was Coming out, i bought that game, and i played it for months and months, the Challenge was so intense, in fact i found it to be as hard as DDR, if not harder sometimes.
Then when the online adaptor came out, it totally Renewed my intrest in the game, with better players (WAYYY better than i imagine there could be) it Pushed me to a whole new level, now i can beat all the songs no prob (well ecept 2 still give me LOTs of trouble). But still online play it seems like there's always some one better than you to challenge, or an upcoming player who is almost at your level. And even people that are at your level.
Now Amplitude is coming out. And with Konami Putting out only DDR games (More Bemani please), which the next one will be here in sept.( i think) that leaves the US market Very Dry in the Music Genre, so if we Snatch these copies up, it will help the genre suceed, and may cause an influx of music games, Deffinately including Konami titles of course!!
I mean Look at all the GREAT games waiting to be released here in the US(that won't be unless there is demand): Keyboard mania for the musician, Pop n music for the Kids, and IIDX for the Teens-young Adults. its win win!
and best of ALL, I GET TO PLAY THIS ONLINE FOR FREE!!
and honestly, i played the demo (its in the April issue if OPM), and once you get past the learning cure (which is a minor one for those already skilled in the music genre) its Really fun and challenging. Also i can't WAIT to see what INSANE MODE looks like ( A new 4th difficulty setting )...

I dont think frequency/amplitude sales are gonna affect bemani descisions, but fear not. I have a good feeling we all are gonna get new bemani very soon.
im getting amplitude whenever i have money after getting my popn controller.

This is the first post by me.
I'm so psych to see Frequency 2 on the U.S. I went to the downtown EBX (Electronics Boutique) to reserve this copy when all of a sudden, the game changed it's name to Amplitude. I was so discouraged by that, but I came through and put a $5 deposit on this game and wait for months to come. Now it's only 12 days left and I'm getting a bit harsh on waiting because I had to go to school every day except weekends. Awww. I'm running out of time. I'll be back |

Our store got the demo yesterday and I had a chance to play it. It's really smooth and the graphics are really cool. All the mods are still in play and they even added in 'Slo-Mo.'
The songs are longer than they normally are which is good because this might mean that we might actually get full length tracks. _________________

Sorry I had to cut that last post which was mine, All because I had to leave. It was the end of yesterday's school day. So I apologize. Anyway, WOW! This is the most amazing yet cool songlist ever. That is why I had to put a $5 deposit on my copy of Amplitude. 11 more days until 3/25/03. I tried playing the demo and I was disappointed and loved at the same time. Quarashi's "Baseline". On the scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest, 10 is the highest) is a 9/10. Garbage "Cherry Lips". 7/10. Can't wait to see what the whole songlist sounds like. Let's see...BT, Freezepop, DJ HMX, Symbion Project, And Komputer Kontroller are back. DJ QBert is also back with others doing "Rockit 2002" by Herbie Hancock. Oh man.......(Fainted) |
